I wanted to thank you for showing the true reality of the country (at least in Caracas) And I also wanted to mention: the hot dog place (min16:40) showing at 5$, the sign said 4 hotdogs plus a 1liter soda 5$. @@Xdasthkkhbsgbn Yo regularmente salgo del trabajo y recorro desde Chacaito a Plaza Venezuela y lo que veo es una gran reactivación, con muchas tiendas de comida, calzados, ropa de todo tipo, buhoneros, restaurantes con música en vivo después de las 6:00 pm. Y lo que es más interesante, con una sensación de seguridad que yo no había visto creo que nunca. Contame algo que me haya perdido entonces.

Caracas is so dangerous that taking your phone out in public is basically begging to be robbed. That's why. I'm from Venezuela, taking your phone out in public was actually one of the culture shocks when I moved to the US. Not because we aren't "glued to our phones" venezuelan youth is as terminally online as any other youth. But because taking any object of value out in public will get you mugged, same goes for going out past dusk.
