Absolutely. I am almost 40 and I am so glad I did get to be a little kid in the 80s to early 90s then middle school in the height of the grunge era. I miss passed times so much. Today seems so forced and fake compared to back then.
I know that being a black male, I would have probably be made fun of in high school if my homies and homegirls knew that I like this song. But now being 43 I wonder if my friends and acquaintances from school can now be more open-minded about what music they would all like.
I am 50 and a black female. From the south. i have always listened to pop and rock. Was never a problem with me and my friends. But then again, I was always known as an individual. Was never made fun of due to my activities. Perhaps the problem for you was socioeconomic and not race
Yes they did! I was about 3 people back from the stage. I can still see the blue eyes on stage. Wish they could have played longer. Damn those were the days
Way back time machine to high school 1986. I was stopped at a stoplight near my house and a girl who I had a crush on at school pulled up behind me in her light blue Volkswagen beetle. One of the best decades for music! I born in the late 1960,s. This. Is real music ever ! Better than this crap out today ! This music blows dust off this so called today !

Man, this brings it back. 1986, I was working at an art gallery. I remember a gallery opening party, this song was playing. I was wearing my sharkskin sport jacket and one my late father's narrow silk ties. My date was wearing a one-piece sequined LBD, and a green surgical glove tied to a barrett in her hair. Sounds like an absurd thing to wear, but she was such a gorgeous blonde that no one ever noticed what it actually was. All evening, she just got all sorts of compliments on her cool hairclip. Almost 50 years and that memory still wows me. That was the 80s.
The 1980s was the best decade for music. The 1960s and 1940s were also great. I was 18 in 1980 so I got to experience the entire decade in the night clubs. ❤️
I was 15, was 1 of only 2 girls in school with motorcycles, went to the dance clubs on the weekends & danced my ass off to this music. Those were the good ole days for sure. I’m sad my grandkids will never know times like those.
It's a great song. Especially with Bryan Adams pitching in. Watching the video I know now, I'd rather just listen to the song. Lol, I lived the 80s too, but I have to admit, I had a good laugh at the band's attire.
I was born in 1960 and have been subjected to so many different types of music and songs from the different decades. I have listened to an abundance of music in my life and like only a select few groups mainly from 70's and some from the 80's. This group stays in my mind for plain and simple reasons they are just amazing. I live on the mighty St. Lawrence river in the USA across from Canada another great country that produced amazing groups and singers. This group and The Guess who are among my favorites out of so many from Canada.

Such memories of being in a California mall in summer of 1987 hearing this played every where when almost everyone in Cali was bleached- blond fond memories
I graduated in 1987..... So I got a taste of junior high and high school...this might go down in history as the best years for music and I lived every minute of it,,,,,,he'll yeah
I grew up listening to Glass Tiger in the 1980's and it's was just awesome time to listen to music from the 1980's and I never forgotten how talented they were back in the 1980's when they were popular on the radio stations every where in the world
Such a great song! The first time I heard it when it came out, I was like, “is that Bryan Adams”?!!! It was just so random, lol. He made it even better!! “FOOOOOR HEAVENS SAKE!!” 80’s kids, unite!!
I hate housework...who doesn't!?! I decided today to put on some 80's music and clean. holy crap, my house is immaculate and even made homemade potato soup. God bless the 80's.
The 80's were famous for cocaine. If you did some and cleaned you would get 2x as much done! Im not condoning drugs just pointing out the irony. Also if you did a time lapse video of cleaning you could make an 80's music montage. Have your house work done in 2 minutes! Ala the nerds fixxing their frat house!
It's high power and melody almost guaranteed for this one to be a hit. Lots of 1986 memories here, mostly good ones. Doesn't seem possible that this is nearing 38 years now. One thing I like about these videos is seeing the crowd having so much fun. Life can be good.
Just heard this one on the radio, and I swear I could hear Bryan Adams sing "For heaven's sake!" Checked it out on google, and yep. All these years I never thought about who was singing that line until today, haha. I saw Glass Tiger play at Calaway Park outside of Calgary in the 80's ~ Good times!
Take me back to the 80's OMG a blast from the past. Saw them and met them had a beer on the bus, the best time ever, they opened for the moody blues. AWESOME
“Don’t Forget Me When I’m Gone”, if only those words spoke true to the one girl I cared about throughout my years in both middle school and high school
When i was in the Army and leaving Germany. This was my going away song. I have so many wonderful memories from back then . Good friends , good times and good tunes.
Graduated high school in 1988, so, yes, I am partial to the music. However, the thing I miss most about the 80's is all the girls with big hair. It was fantastic!
prince, micheal jackson, kenny loggins, chicago, peter cetera, survivor, heart, bryan adams ..the hair bands, metallica, van halen, def leppard.. phil collins, madonna, huey lewis, bruce hornsby, howard jones,.. 80's was loaded with talent, and so endless !!
Bill Suppa I am going to agree with you just because Papa don’t Preach was number one for two weeks in the American Charts within the month of August that year
I'm almost 59 and I still dig the music from the 80's... I don't have,"big hair" any more, but I still have all my hair. Lol thanks for the great memories!!! 🤟🎸❤️🤟👍😎
I was 10 years old when this came out in 1986. This song was playing my head earlier today and I had to come watch it. Brings back happy 80s childhood memories.
I was 17 yrs old still in school back in 1986 ! The 1980,S really had a lot of great music as well ! Even movie sound tracks as well ! & some good moves too ! The 80,S was a good decade. When you listen to a song from the 80,S it takes. You back & brings back memeries ! & better times to say .
I'm 30 and my mother played this song and I loved it. I couldn't remember the song and in a store, this song played. I sang it. And now here I can play it again
Wow 80's was something else. Those were good days. I wished I could go back and live them over. It's nice to be able to go back and listen to good music and reminisce way back when.❤
The 80s weren't a decade, they were a ride of pure happiness.
Yeah, AIDS was a non-stop party of happy times, all right.
The 80's was awesome. Metal, hard rock, soft rock, pop, etc. Almost all genre's of music was great.
You can’t explain what is was like to live in the 80’s. All you can do is listen to songs like this and be transported back and smile.
It was a totally different time. I loved it and miss it.

I wouldn't have blinked at this song in the 80s and yet, here I am, 40 years later and I know every word. THAT is how f'n awesome the 80s were.
Very accurate comment!! I ignored this song back then and it sounds like heaven now

Ditto from a black male as well!!! One of my favorite songs here!!
There are reaction channels all over CZcams of Black men and women listening to “white” rock. They’re awesome, check them out!

I bet the 80's was one hell of a time to live in. I wish they still made music like this.

This is a beautiful song from the 80s. The way he leans into the vocals during the chorus is great.
I like the guest vocal by Bryan Adams, and his unmistakable voice!
Byron Adams had just released the "Reckless" album. Had 5 top 5 songs from it.
its the best part of the song. Always thought so.
I'm glad you mentioned that, because I was going to ansk that Question, I was wondering Bryan Adams in background on the vocals of that Song.
Brian Adams was the producer for this album. Fellow Canadians.
Fun fact… he also provided guest vocals to the song SUNSET GRILL by Don Henley about two years earlier

You take my breath away
Love thinks it's here to stay
There's still so much for me to do
And I can't stop loving you
Oh, can this be true
If you could see what I have seen
Broken hearts and broken dreams
Then I wake up and you're not there
Pain finds me everywhere
Oh, but you don't care
Don't forget me when I'm gone
My heart would break
I have loved you for so long

I never vacuum or do groceiries w/o my ipod - Matter of fact I walk the streets with it, listening to music, whenever I can.
Can you come over and clean mine?
Kim, 80's music just makes everything better.
La voz de Bryan Adams le dió el toque mágico a este temasasasazoooo!!!!!❤👍👏🎼🎵🎶🎷🎸🎹🎺🎻
One of my all time favourite bands!!!
I grew up in the 80s and it's great music!
I love 80's!! 💜💜💜💜
Best years of my life
It's high power and melody almost guaranteed for this one to be a hit. Lots of 1986 memories here, mostly good ones. Doesn't seem possible that this is nearing 38 years now.
One thing I like about these videos is seeing the crowd having so much fun. Life can be good.
I had the pleasure and it was an honour meeting Mr Frew today and working in his home.
Very good
So glad to be growing up during this fabulous era 🥰 i was 18 in 1986 the 80's will live forever !!!!
80's CLASSIC !! 🎉😅
I always ask God, to let me spend eternal life in an 80's heaven...If possible.
I love this song makes me think about my childhood back in the 80s
I'm from Trinidad and Tobago and this was massive hit. Thanks"Glass Tiger" and thanks CZcams.
Words can't express how great this song is.thank you
Just heard this one on the radio, and I swear I could hear Bryan Adams sing "For heaven's sake!" Checked it out on google, and yep.
Im 17, so i never heard of this song before until yesterday on radio in Mexico... shazam saved my life, this song is awesome!
When i was in the Army and leaving Germany. This was my going away song. I have so many wonderful memories from back then . Good friends , good times and good tunes.
Glass Tiger was SO underrated. this band single handedly brings me back to the 80s when I hear them....this an d Someday,,,
Graduated high school in 1988, so, yes, I am partial to the music. However, the thing I miss most about the 80's is all the girls with big hair. It was fantastic!
I always think the big hair is hot, bring it back in todays fashion!!
I still do the front big
I did graduated high school in 1988 too

Among the great decade of the 80s, yes, 1986 is the best year.
1984 through 1986
Nice try. No.
Bill Suppa I am going to agree with you just because Papa don’t Preach was number one for two weeks in the American Charts within the month of August that year
What a great voice! Great Band!! Miss those days!!
I'm almost 59 and I still dig the music from the 80's... I don't have,"big hair" any more, but I still have all my hair. Lol thanks for the great memories!!! 🤟🎸❤️🤟👍😎
Love this song. A blast from my childhood.
Still My Jam In 24 as an 80s kid.. Loved you for so long..
This song deserves more spotlight
I was 10 years old when this came out in 1986. This song was playing my head earlier today and I had to come watch it. Brings back happy 80s childhood memories.
You're the same age as me.
Thank you Aaron Berg, Joe DeRosa and Sal Vulcano for bringing me here. Top-notch Canadian music.
Glass Tiger is the coolest name in music history and it's the oddest moment rock music history
This couldn't be any better!!!
great song. great time! loved the 80's
oh my!! Look how nicely they were dressed!! Love this song...great memories
I agree
Just discovered this song after hearing it at my work. Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong decade with my taste in music.
3:22 multiple keyboards with the keyboard player having each hand on a separate keyboard. Classic 80s.
Thank God my memories won’t be based on the music of the past 2 decades. I’ll keep everything from the 60s-early 90s thank you 😁
Best times ever. You'll never have a decade like that as far as original music ever again.
Geoffrey
I was in 9th grade when this song came out and its a freakin classic....I love the 80's!!!! REAL MUSIC with no BS!!!!

OMG... I love this song!
Beautiful memories when I was 15 yrs old. 80s
underrated band in its time but refreshing more now when you really sit and listen to their music!!!😄😊👍😉
This brings back memories of my rather large stereo system as I tweaked on it's numerous stacked components while blasting tunes like this.
Wow 80's was something else. Those were good days. I wished I could go back and live them over. It's nice to be able to go back and listen to good music and reminisce way back when.❤
Whe does this song make me all warm inside. Love this 80s ☺️☺️❤️❤️
