Your channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites to watch when you upload new vids. Keep the "will it starts" and crusty wrenching coming!
I appreciate this, thank you very much!
Cool old Binder. They have personality. I've got a 64' C1300 now and have had a bunch of them over the years.
That's sweet! They are cool little trucks
Nothing shows commitment more than working in this sht weather, cold miserable rain, and operating a camera by yourself. That dedication won't go unnoticed makes for entertainment for couch mechanics. Good thing I'm doing a timing chain so I'm not at the moment. Maybe pretty soon 😂😂😂
Thanks pal. Good luck and have fun!
Came here not expecting to like this channel near as much as I have! Keep up the excellent work!
I appreciate you, thank you very much!
I died laughing when you dunked the whole carburetor into the carb dip without taking it apart first. I love the smell of Berryman's, it smells "industrial", it was the first odor I smelled at my gas station when I opened up in the morning back in the day. The close up of the rotten muffler was interesting, is that the remains of a Thrush glass pack? Your "rust belt" International is truly unique, definitely worth saving. You my friend are a born entertainer, thanks for the video!
Haha well I'm glad you enjoyed. Thank you!
The man said it’s getting cold…..so I’m just gonna cut about all my hair off to remain warm😂. Enjoy your channel. Also appreciate the fact that you like the cool stuff that most people don’t see the beauty of. Also love the witty humor and great clips you include in your content. Keep up the good work!
Hahah thanks for calling me out. At least I won’t get hat head! Appreciate you 👍
OK, now there’s 2 vehicles on your channel I'm totally and completely invested in!!! Love your videos! Keep em coming please!
Awesome, you can count on it!
nice video! Love seeing that smile when it starts up haha. can’t wait to see what new projects are in line for the new year…hopefully finish the skid steer?
OH WE’RE GETTING THAT THING RUNNING
Love these old Trucks!! Heck yeah one sexy Truck
You're becoming one of my favorite channels. Keep the videos coming
Thanks pally!
Looks like full floater axles if it was the diff it would roll with the axles removed..
hard taps in the brake drum with a ball peen Hammer works well ..
Nice to see you back on a new project 👌
Happy New Year everyone 🎉
That should be a genuine International BD240 engine in there. A real truck engine!
Yes, it's the BG241. She'll be runnin' like a sewing machine here shortly!
Well done, this is a fun channel
Man that thing fired right off and no smoke from exhaust, win win on that one. Looking forward to seeing more on this project. There is a CZcams channel 406 garage that does exclusively international trucks he may be a source for parts.
Thanks for the tip, I’ll check him out!
Probably one of the best mechanical CZcamsrs! Love your stuff brother!!!
I appreciate you. Thanks!!
Someone near me has a 66 IH up for grabs and all of a sudden your videos popped up on my feed. The algorithim giveth!
Weird world!
Love the lounge music intermissions ❤
Thanks for the feedback! Glad you like it.
Great vid but where's Mrs Nock?
After you get it running you should look into finding a rearend that isn’t locked up and put it in the truck
Hell yeah brother! Crazy for it to start running away on ya. Can't wait to see more videos on this one.
Definitely wasn't expecting that! Thanks pal.
Great progress, Mick! From a totally locked-up rear at the start, the 'is the engine seized?' middle to idling pretty well at the end. It's been a great first year for the channel and we're looking forward to what 2024 will bring. Happy New Year to you and yours!
Happy new year!
I thought that my Grandfathers IH Pickup was a 66 Aqua Green 1/2 big inline 6 cylinder engine.. three on the tree..
Sounds like it was a cool rig!
cool!
No no...that's an International engine. Not an AMC. There should be a flat pad on the front of the block under the front exhaust manifold outlet. The pad should face out toward the passenger side. On there should be the engine family, cubic inch displacement and serial number. SD= Silver Diamond BD= Black Diamond BG= Blue-Gray Diamond. All of International's engines were named or coded. Let us know what you find.
You're correct! BG241. Thanks for the info. Looks like the AMC didn't become available in the intl trucks until 68.
westport wa.state here sir.
had one 1966 345 short bed in college. what a beast we had a harvester repair shop in town. lightened the distributor springs. one ton possi. and granny 4 speed. looked for a 392. think that is right. i called it the spotted dog.. was a county rig. two tanks. and i will have you know it was the high dollar one. " a m radio" told you, high dollar.
now on to your show.
Cool memories. Thanks for sharing!
well done, sir. Appreciate the content and commentary. And yes, one of the best up and coming channels!
I appreciate that, thank you!
The spark to the #1 cylinder sure looked erratic when the engine was running. I'd bet that isn't helping things. Good video and I hope you get that machine back on the road.
Might just have to run it for a bit. We'll keep an eye on it. Thank you!
Hangover Nationals at Dragway 42. You have till Monday to get the truck ready to race. Just saying.
Now wouldn't that be something!
Another great video , keep them on the road .looking forward to your next.
Thank you! Will do.
I bet the neighbors loved this one 🤣🔊
Oh I am SURE they did....
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊❤
where did you find out hat the engine was made by AMC? I always suspected they made the engines for IHC trucks. Especially the IH v8 engines. The engine in your truck should be a silver diamond or black diamond
I mispoke, the AMC engines did not become available until 68. Mine is the BG241!
To clarify, American Motors and International Harvester are two distinct companies. They did share an engine at one point but International(now Navistar) built trucks and AMC was what was left of Nash, Frazer, Packard, Studebaker and Hudson.
Not quite. Nash-Kelvinator acquired Hudson to form AMC in spring 1954. Later that year Packard acquired Studebaker to form the Studebaker-Packard Corporation.
didnt international have chrome alli rings.
International made the green red and black diamond 6cyl engines yours is probably green
Tiger if your going to use a gas axe turn up the heat not a welding flame
Not a AMC engine please research info before speaking. International made in 3 cid 220, 240 265.
You're correct! BG241. Thanks for the info
