It is a common Fretless Bass Technique applied to the Guitar : play the Harmonic, lift your Finger, fret the Note carefully and slide - all in one Movement! You can even bend a Harmonic that way...
@@bobjackson3735 there's a lot to discover:) It is used with bends on Electric a lot! I forgot about these, but did explore harmonics on Acoustic - see Nuages or Nancy on my Channel if you like.
I have a question for anyone on here. I'm learning gypsy jass and I was wanting to know if there are guitarists out there that when doing a descending run at a fast pace do they use the sweep picking technique instead of the rest stroke method when you do descending runs.
All of these guys while playing gypsy style are not copying Django and are bringing there own personality to this well worn tune. Pity Seb is such a moody sod.

Strings 1043 yeah, they do, but it’s not traditional. it’s mostly the newer players influenced by other styles of jazz like bebop.
