Always looked forward to Peter Puck, during intermission.
Brings me back. Good old Peter Puck and Showdown!
That's right, Showdown. It definitely made the intermissions more interesting.
This brings back many childhood memories.
I believe that’s Ronnie Schell doing the voice of Peter Puck.
Yip love those Peter Puck episodes

This version of the icing rule was recently retired for player safety reasons. The NHL now has "no-touch" icing, the same as international play.
captain obvious
Never saw this in the States. Then I would have known in my first game that I didn't need to go to the penalty box for stopping the game with an offsides. My coach kept me on the bench for my next shift, just to be safe.
You should have seen this in The States if you were watching broadcasts of weekly NBC games in the early 70s.
Does Warner Bros. currently own the rights to this, with most of the H-B library?
