I'm sorry, but what's Cheli doing now that he would get fired? There are stronger Hockey markets in Canada and Northern U.S. and I think a few investors wouldn't mind adding a couple more teams up near those parts. Hockey in Dallas, Florida and Carolina is a somewhat of a joke. Although, there are many devoted fans in all those places, but they're still not Canadians who truly live and breath Hockey. There should be 2 divisions... A Canadian division & an American Division & the American division can be subdivided, while the Canadian division wouldn't need to be sub divided. At the end of the 80 games it would go by the points for play off qualification. Stop upsetting the Canadian fans, that's a huge chunk of the ratings. @camayer Yes he was being sarcastic. Some of the moves bettman made were very bad, but he halso made good moves for hockey as well. He's not a great commissioner, but i do think he is better than basketball and baseballs, not like thats saying a whole lot.
