  • Our first time changing the oil in our Thor Ace Evo Motorhome. It wasn't hard... but it was slightly messy.
If you are changing your own oil, please look up the specs for your specific engine and vehicle.

Enjoyed the video, reminds me I'll have to do the same soon. Having done several oil changes on my 29.2 A.C.E, I got tired of cleaning up the oil spilling over the axle (I didn't make a fancy diverted like you did), so purchased an EZ Oil Drain Valve. Not an ad for them, there are other brands, but the neat thing (literally) is you can screw a pipe nipple on the discharge side of the valve, connect a short piece of hose and direct it to your your drain pan. Keep up the videos, I've done several projects on by A.C.E. after seeing how you made it seem easy. Oh, another thing, if you twist the oil bottle, you can fit it into the oil fill neck without the need of a funnel. Just let it sit then and finish draining while you fill another quart bottle from the 5 quart jug.

Thanks for the great tips! We are considering the EZ valve.
