I had a 77 Chevy truck just like that but with a straight 6 ,3 speed manual also a 77 Camaro with a 350 brings back memories
That 305 sounds great. Best sounding I've heard
305 sounds pretty good!!
Thanks! Glasspacks have a mean bark for sure.
I don’t know man that harsh deep tone of a glasspack is gonna win me over every time
305 sounding healthy
The 383 sounds great with the flows.
I’ve got a 78 Camaro with a 305 with mid cam as well. 👍
Both sound good but I like how the camaro sounds has more of a chop to it
Hope that's rhetorical, Can't answer...they both sound GOOD and I have never been a big fan of the glass pack, but I must say that 305 sounds NICE🤙🏿...My Man
I have a dodge charger. I like the z28 sound. It has a cam with a high lift.
Cool video. Hello from Canada! 🇨🇦🇨🇦
Thanks!
383 needs them nasty ass flows took off and it'd be heaven
Check out my video “383 Squarebody Hits The Streets - 1979 Sierra Reveal” from two months ago. You’ll like it’s exhaust more in that video.
@@CarGuyV8 for sure, didn’t mean to come across like a dick either but I did for sure my bad man lol.
Dude that 305 sounds mean, crank up that idle speed a bit and you'll sound like a full tilt track car
Do you think you could do a video on how to install a camshaft? I got a 99 stang. Feel like you’d be good at teaching it
Is your mustang a 4.6 (2 cams) or 3.8 (1 cam)?
@@CarGuyV8 4.6
@@YakAttack64 I’ve not personally installed cams in a 4.6. In a lot of ways it’s easier and in some ways it’s a little harder from what I hear.
I might run that cam in my 305 in my 85 firebird. Is it fine to use the stock stall?
It’s rpm range is rated at 1,800-5,200 so I’m sure a stock stall would work fine.
@@CarGuyV8 Is yours stock?
@@clarksgarageofbadhabits6803 Mine has a b&m 3000 stall converter. I’ve seen bigger cams than this used with stock converters so you can get away with it, but a small converter would be ideal.
Need to tune those carbs.
I won’t tune the Camaro’s setup because it is just to move it around the yard. The Squarebody’s carb is almost spot on. It only smoked on startup because I instinctively pumped the throttle and slightly flooded it.
Camaro sounds like a truck
GOOD SOUNDING BOAT ANCHOR
