Dude is speaking the truth. I started back in 1997 with North Pole Productions after I meeting Peter North at my local gym in S. OC. I worked for five years with both large a small companies, and then one day I realized that my only friends and the people that I dated were the porn industry, I could not maintain a normal relationship because of the way that I viewed sex. I knew that this was not healthy; so, I got out; since that time I have accomplished a lot in my life, I served in the Army for several years, found Christ, got my MBA and JD. On the outside, my life looks great, but the reality is I am on my second marriage and I still have a hard time maintaining an emotionally healthy physical relationship with one woman. Every day is a struggle to do what is right. I miss the lifestyle because it was fun, but I know that it was not good for me.

I think it’s better to watch porn than to be with someone your not attracted to. Look at the guys who’s entire life revolves around a bitchy girlfriend who isn’t even attractive, just so they can get some 🐱 once in a while. Working all week or month, putting up with bullshi+, wasting their time and money on someone so they get sex once in a while. Instead of spending 20-30min a day watching whatever porn they want, and going on with their day. I’d rather watch a 9 or 10 on a screen than have the real thing with a 1 or a 2.

Bravo for Jack's vulnerability and candor! Wow! Seems like such a nice, caring, respectful guy all around, sure that people in the industry appreciated working with him. "Be mindful of who you judge in life and why"...this is what came to mind. Stereotypes, etc., so easy to assume.

@Charlie Ennis It sounds like it's less about the industry per se and more about the current culture where it comes to social issues nowadays, because what I know from hearing other people say about the adult industry in the past (as in post-AIDS up to now), they were often in favor of testing, etc. It's sad.

@@yootoob1001001 Any industry is focused on making money. If you refuse to do a job and you cite your reasons, I can imagine that they will break you down over it. They don't make money by letting people do their own thing. They make money by pushing the boundaries of those people, and those boundaries are often better rewarded. Eg. An anal scene with a rough guy, or with a gay guy. They will break you down, break you to a point where you will never raise your voice again. Look what happened to Sasha Grey and Stoya. They spoke up against that douche who raped women and they got bullied out of the industry. A lot of the jerk offs out there need to have a strike against the industry. Boycott touching their weenies because their actors and actresses work conditions are not up to standard.

once again, taking someone with a life/career that society typically looks down upon and breaking down those stereotypes and showing that everyone comes from different backgrounds, walks of life, upbringings. This is so important. You’re showing that these are people too, that everyone on earth is just trying to get by however they choose to do so. This video hasnt changed anything lol. People that go into the industry are human like everyone else. No one disputes that. They have bad judgement and I wouldnt trust them around my kids. The crowds they are involved with are shady. Ron Jeremy for example

Hi Mark Laita i just want to say thank you for creating this channel that provides these people a platform to tell their story. Im from South Africa and ive never seen anything like this in my country so my knowledge has been broadened and honestly the misconception of the "American dream" has been exposed for its somewhat fraudulent nature. Im completely hooked on this channel some of the stories have truly changed me. Im a young mom of a 3 yr old son so ive been motivated to do better for him.

Agree 100%, I think it has something to do with listening to what seems to be just your average guy off the street having a dream/goal to succeed in what is a VERY foreign environment to most people then going out and having everything line up just right for him. I think the juxtaposition between his low key demeanor and the exotic environment he has thrived in is fascinating. I bet he has enough stories for a pretty good book in the future.

Given it happen in commiefornia, I bet there was some really pressuring issue involving jewish mobsters armed to the teeth making sure that people get the message to not fuck with their money. My friend and I were able to get in with the Playboy crowd in the early 2000's. We went to parties at clubs and met tons of people. Our most favorite encounter was Peter North and his wife. They were the most down to Earth couple I had ever met. Sincere, humble and funny. We talked with them for a few hours. Jack reminded me of Peter. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview.

After watching the horrible and traumatized life of porn actresses in this channel (Ziggy, specially). It is quite bizarre to compare with a dude porn actor and notice the absurd difference/gap between genders here... This one specially telling how normal his childhood was and how porn just came up, meanwhile girls mostly were raped and horribly abused. Idk if I made my point here, whatever... Two very different worlds.

I loved this guy's honesty! I used to work as a background extra in adult movies, and one time the same thing happened to the male lead...he could not maintain an erection, and it must have been super embarrassing for him. It was a pretty big production with a crew and a couple background extras, all waiting around while he tried to get it up in the bathroom, to no avail...they ended up having to cancel the shoot and redo it the next day. I still got paid for my time, but I felt bad for the male actor because I'm sure it was tough for him! Sometimes we forget these are real people with real feelings, just trying to do a job. I actually give them a lot of respect for what they do!

But having seen his interview and the one you did with Ziggy (who deserves a huge hug from anyone who can comfort her) I am a huge fan of these two as people, completely independent of their work. I heard he was dating Ziggy and I hope these two are genuinely happy as they both deserve it, especially Ziggs!!
