Ok dude first of all, let me congratulate you for your vice, it is really cool, very practical and looks very nice. I often have the problem that I would need a longer clamp surface. The only thing is that you really can't call this a DIY, as you need to be a trained mechanic, require a fully equipped workshop with expensive machinery, a lot of money for the materials and also your vice is complicated enough. Just watching your video isn't enough to replicate it, I would need your blueprints to make it. But regardless, I love your videos and your creations, you are really skilled!

Dude this is one phenomenal piece of work on ur part. I've never seen a vise like this one evert so I have to salute u for a job brilliantly done. U got real skills man. I can only dream about having ur skill with metalwork. I'm about to embark on a build of my own but it's completely new to me and I'm a little bit, nae very weary of the task in front of me.
I haven't worked with metal since I was 11/12/13 and I certainly haven't worked with Lathe's or welding since that time when I was in secondary school.
I'm about to turn 51 yrs of age this October so I'm behind the curve a fair bit but I'm a quick learner and will please God catch up to the pint that I can build my own Table saw. The Arbor with the belt driven motor is the one thing I'm really unsure about.
Thanks for maing this video my friend. It's really inspiring me to be better when I watch content like this. Keep them coming my bro and best of luck in the fiuture, not that u need luck with the skills u have. LOL
