I can't understand how anyone can claim that they are saved when they refuse to submit to Christ's authority.
"Falling for anything that sounds good", is sadly the state of the world.
Unfortunately, a very self-centered way of living, a "me, Me, ME!" mentality. It goes to show the depths of despair and depravity a lot of people are in, easily manipulated to partake in the distraction--an ear pleasing, emotion lifting, carnal, "quick fix".
The only way to fill that void that many long to fill, is through the Lord, our savior Jesus Christ.

Are you saying a person can’t be saved that way? Perhaps instead you should be praying for the lost. Maybe you won’t like the method but at least they are trying to reach the lost. How many people have you shared the gospel with and discipled them?

We all know that The Message, The Passion, New World Translation (JW Bible) are to be avoided, but what I have heard was that the NRSV had verses that have been gender neutralised.

I agree with you here on these false bibles (The Message, The Passion, NWT). Sadly many Christians use them thinking they are reading the word of God which they are not. Still worse many Pastors are preaching and teaching from them - teaching error and confusion - the work of Satan. Also I agree with you that some of the more modern translations are going the way of the world in gender neutralising complete passages so that they now promote feminism giving women the right to be elders and pastors. It is time that this false need is exposed and removed from the church.
Stick to the KJV. Modern versions are perverted.

And you ended it with a perfect quote- too many are into ‘feel good fuzzy stuff’ and if it’s ’Christian’ it’s ok, and that is just not the case ! People need to wake up to what is REAL or fuzzy !
I put a lot of blame on Charles Finney for starting what we call the altar call, in which people are misled into thinking that if they walk down an aisle and repeat a prayer they are born again. I noticed that the same people who say the socalled sinner's prayer do it more than once, in order to re-save themselves each time they think that they lost their false assurance of salvation. To me this is evidence that they were never saved to begin with or else they wouldn't feel the need to constantly depend on a works based ritual.

I went up on an alter call in about 86. I was 16, got baptized shortly after. Thought i was a christian.
I dont think i was actually saved until i was in my 40s. I believe i was a false convert until then.
Im 53 now. I know now my salvation is all and only because of and through Christ.
There is absolutely nothing i can do towards it.
All my hope is in Him and all i can do is thank Him and live for Him daily.

What about Romans 16:1-2? Phoebe was a Deacon to the Church in Cenchrea. Deacons, servants, from my understanding, assist the Pastor in activities they are too busy to do themselves, or, they assist the Pastor with activities where he needs help, like in baptisms; Makes sure the Church building, and its' needs, are maintained, visits people in the Hospital, teach Sunday School, etc.. Kind of a personal assistant type, but, also Baptized in the Holy Ghost. Which can be male, or, female, or, single, or married. Probably more acceptable that they be single, or, widowed. Some Churches have a few Assist. Pastors, ministers, on board, too. Different strokes for different Boats, lol. Depends on the Church, and their members, how they run the Church. Can't say anything if not a member.
I like this rebuke of Paul to the "men" in Corinth, in Corinthians 14:36, What? (I hear Paul Begley, every time I read that, whaaaaaat, are you serious?", lol).......cont......came the word of God out from you? or, came it unto you ONLY? In the Spirit/spirit, women aren't any different from men.
Everyone submits to the Pastor of a Church, when they are members of that Church don't they? Maybe Paul changed his mind, but, forget to write more specific detail in his letters, like he did for head coverings, of men and women in Church. Women can be "last", too. Sounds like a bunch of boys arguing over "who's first" in the Kingdom of God. First will be last, and last will be first. You can't take that away from us, lol.

I don't remember going to the front, raising my hands neither do I remember repeating some prayers after the preacher but I left that convention a different person. Everyone who knew me noticed something happened to me. The joy was unspeakable, the things I used to do I do them no more, it was later as I continued fellowship that I knew I got born again ( praise God)
It's pitiful to hear preacher's telling people to repeat a prayer when they person has zero conviction of their sin, commits those same sins and calls it 'it's not the flesh that's born again but the spirit' so they can continue with their old sinful habits and change gradually. The church has been truly invaded.
However, all these is the fulfilment of 2Timothy 3 so we just have to hold fast that which we have earnestly.

I will say there can be a lot of legalism in “Lordship Salvation”, even though I definitely agree with it, for the most part. There are too many who use this to “Lord” perfectionism over people.
Anyone teaching that is a false teacher. We will follow Christ as Lord once we are born again and live in a new direction but not in perfection.

You do realize Ephesians chapter 2 and look especially close at verses 15 and 16 teaches that in place of the two; God has made one new man and reconciled us both to God in one body through the cross.

Some of your videos have help me personally when it comes to having faith in the Lord.
There is a question that I need to be answered: the church that I currently attend focuses on preaching the Gospel through missions and have sent missionaries all over the world. They say that preaching the Gospel is mandated by Christ for everyone. Sometimes, it feels like they are pushing everyone to do missions and doing what the church considers to be spiritual training.
So I remember going to short-term missions one time at Colombia, and we tried to preach the Gospel to the people there. However, we used the sinner's prayer as part of the Gospel presentation. Something didn't sit right with me about the sinner's prayer as it seemed kind of fake and not really about submitting to Christ and repentance to Christ.
Should I still attend this church if this is the case? And is my church right about what they are doing?

Thank you for this video. You are not afraid to speak the truth, even though the truth offends many. People love bending the Bible to fit what they want rather than change themselves to fit the Bible. Feminism or homosexuality are worshiped more than God, so feminists and homosexuals who consider themselves Christian are worshiping those identities first and God second. Of course, those are just two big examples.
I appreciate you speaking on the issue of Israel. That is something that has always been a little confusing to me. So many around me have blind support for Israel, which is a country that rejects Jesus as Lord and is filled with sin. But the support should be directed at the salvation of Israel and the fulfillment of God's promise. Thank you for adding some clarity to this issue.
I was saved when I was a kid, but the reality is that I did it because mom and my brother did it. I had no clue, just a good feeling. Personally, I do believe in what God said, that He knew us from before the foundation of the world. Still, we have free will and must choose, even though God already knows the outcome. I was saved several more times before I truly understood salvation and truly submitted to the Lord as king over everything in my life...and I mean everything. The church really failed me in making sure that I truly understood this life-changing decision. Praise God for being there for me all along the way.
Currently, the church has turned into an entertainment venue, preaching soft messages of love love love so as not to offend. Paul warned of false teachers and false doctrines rising from within the church, yet everyone seems to ignore that today. They use all sorts of wordly desires to be hip and cool so that they can draw in the crowds. This is why sinful lifestyles are now approved of and accepted into the church. Love love love with no consequences for ignoring the scripture that one doesn't like or which offends them. This is why I do not go to church. I have prayed about it, but have not been called.
I am surprised that you did not mention another problem in the church...the pre-tribulation rapture that has run amok and has everyone thinking that they will be whisped away to avoid the coming hard times. Jesus is coming only once. We will be caught up in the air after the dead in Christ are raised and caught up. This clearly comes later, as spoken by Jesus in Matthew chapter 24. Many will be surprised when the terrible things begin to happen, wondering why they were not taken up to heaven. It is a belief that can be dangerous for believers and make them succeptible to end times deception.
Hey Jordan. Thank you for the work and time that you put in to these videos. I've actually learned a lot about who to avoid as far as pastors and teachers go, and what the Bible really says about many topics that I have questions about. I do have one question for you. I was saved initially at age 6, but now (almost 40 years later), I believe that I have been living a lie and that I was never truly saved. Which book of the new Testament would you recommend for someone like myself who is unsure about my salvation? I've been told that Romans and 1 John are both good starting points.
1 John is the best because it lays out the differences between saved and not saved

You are correct in your assessment of the two factors of why the sheeple are being led astray , or over a cliff . As far as the inerrancy of God’s word is concerned , history and biblical writings that are older than the Greek scholars, philosophers and fathers back the inerrancy of His word . Even though the Bible was written over a period of 4k years by people who lived at different times and places all the books inter lock together precisely . So even the argument of circular reasoning is debunked .
As far as illiteracy goes unfortunately most people don’t read and understand the word . Granted at times I even have a difficult time , and when that happens I do my best to get the right answer by studying and asking questions . For the most part it doesn’t take a lot of listening to these false teachers to know they are corrupt , but unfortunately a lot of sheeple just want their ears scratched .

Is this right or should this be spoken against???? I love where we go but I see some of this starting to creep into where we are at. Am I wrong for feeling this way??? But there is the situation where the wife is saved and the husband is not. But God will help in this situation if the wife is sincere. She has access to the Word and the Holy Spirit will teach. 1 Jn 2:20 & 27. Reading the Word through the eyes of the Holy Spirit is better than listening to man/women....
I’ll watch but man, I’m really hoping they mention not blurring the Law/Gospel distinction. Even wonderful men like MacArthur and Lawson fall into this; preaching the Law as though it is how are justified or preaching that is so heavy on law but fails to give the Gospel motivation and power by which the Christian lives out the life in Christ and seeks to obey God’s law not FOR salvation and peace with God but FROM a salvation and peace already met for us in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The true church does not have open borders. Non-believers need to be evangelized. Believers need to be instructed. Church discipline must be practiced.
I grew up in a church where children were not instructed in the faith. I had to learn mostly on my own, with the Bible as my chief textbook.
And the Bible should continue being your "chief text book" or your manual for life. People follow people when they should be following Jesus....

I have learning disabilities and I tried reading the Bible, but it went over my head. And I was never thought how to use the bible. So, I have to watch videos about the real bible to understand what it is telling me to do. I am trying to do the right thing. And I put Jesuse over everyone ells. But I have a hard time when you put up for example john 3;16. I have no idea what the passage is because I can't read the bible. But if you could learn to say what the verse means it can help me out. John MacArthur is correct on this issue however he is a poor example to use. He himself is being exposed for remarks very concerning on other topics. He is a closet Calvinist and tries to satisfy a broad audience. He also preaches the false teaching of Lordsfip salvation.
MacArthur is the best Bible teacher and preacher of this generation. He isn't a closet calvinist he's very open about reformed theology and teaches the sovereignty of God in salvation. Calvinism is Bible Christianity. You're a poor example of discernment because you have none.

I love John MacArthur have used his study bible for over 10 years but he’s wrong regarding his dispensationalism and eschatology and unfortunately it’s weaved all throughout his commentary. I need a Reformation Study Bible but I hate to give up my old one with all the notes I’ve made over the years.
