Thank you suellio, i bought the motor racing checklist 1.0, 2.0 and the book. I just started watching it and only with a part of improving my braking i already improved by 1 second a lap. I also pre-ordered the racecraft checklist.

The racing line for me was just a sort of guide when I first drove on the sim I didn’t know the full track layout yet so I used it a bit and like 3 laps later and I disabled it and it didn’t feel weird at all mostly because I was only paying attention to the line in sections I didn’t really know well and I was still paying attention to useful information around me
Now I never use it cause it’s useless for me from the start I pretty much knew the line naturally and I only used it to know what direction the next turn was when I didn’t know the track
percentage wise, your speed difference will be bigger....those words hit really hard

Hello mate, just wondering how to get more consistent, I personally lack it in football (soccer) and I’m sim racing, I think it’s just me that’s so bad at it but do you have any tips?

One question: does locking up in RL decrease the grip similarly strong as iracing does or is it just much more pronounced in the sim?
Yes it does, but in the sim you're talking about big locks. In RL we're more sensitive to the locks so we end up doing it less than in sim

Your motor racing checklist let me convert from ACC to IRacing and I was never that happy in sim racing as now. Applying all your techniques feels soo good and I feel much more connected to the car! Playing with ideal line turned on? Turn it off, there's more than a second to find.
i bought loadcell pedals and forgot to change that setting for months LOL made loads of time once i changed it

I have the same problem I’m 4k+ pace with the racing line and without it I’m 1k lol
I think this guy needs a lot more experience. I would suggest he look at where he wants to go and put the car there. He's also starting fast then going slow, you're supposed to do it the other way around until you possibly run out of grip (and you will feel it too). That comes with experience and he needs a lot of it. It's good that he's going in the right direction now but man was I on the edge of my seat with how much speed he was taking into some of these corners. I'm surprised he didn't spin out more.
But that's how you drive a downforce car. You can't maximize the corner speed if you don't carry enough speed for the aero to work.
He is still a bit all over but that'll iron out over time.
Hell, aero cars get a lot of their braking potential from their aero, not their brakes. So entering fast didnt phase me so much as his bad lines - those will come with time.
DUUUUDEEE !!!! F-you MAN!! (is a good F-u, don't worry).... THIS is what I have been struggling with. I actually CHANGED my pedals last week in lieu of better brake modulation as I knew that brake modulation was my weakest point by analyzing the data.
I've improved about 3 tenths per lap in ACC by changing the pedals, but I was studying my telemetry this entire week and practiced it for like 2hrs a day because I couldn't properly modulate the off-brake part of the braking so I was going from 100% to 30% back to around 70%....
I AM TRYING THIS RIGHT NOW and change my Brake gamma ASAP.
