It’s a little annoying how the button will sabotage every date with a stupid question until they find the perfect pair. Then it’s back to a “romantic” kind of dating show.
The worst thing is when they actually have chemistry and one presses because "I want to keep my options open" Heads up people. There will always be someone better than the last. My father once said he's glad he didn't find the perfect person because then he wouldn't be married to my mother. The person you love isn't always the perfect person for you. Set standards, don't settle, but know when you have something good.
It's a tricky balance cuz how do you know if you have the right choice without other options you know

Although I still think it's kind of shitty to be on a speed dating show and pass someone you have chemistry with because there might be someone better.
That girl sent me into a spiral of self reflection because I had the same thoughts with my current partner when we started dating. We've been together for 8 years and he did so many things when we started dating that were so kind and helpful, yet I still had the thoughts of "what else is out there?". But I'm glad I didn't explore what else was out there because my partner is amazing. He's not perfect but he's definitely someone I expect being by my side for the rest of my life.
No one is perfect but expecting you still find someone better is a double edged sword. Someone may be better in one way and worse in another. We all decide what we're willing to tolerate for the things that we care about.
