Searching Dollar Bill Straps for Rare Star Notes and Rare Bills

- I'll be searching through $1,000 worth of money ($1 bank notes) from my local bank. All 10 of these $100 $1 Bill straps are teller straps. These are straps the bank tellers assemble from customer and business deposits. I typically have better luck when searching federal reserve notes strapped by the Federal Reserve rather than by the bank employees but I was still excited to hunt through these notes!
We're hoping to find more rare star notes, any valuable old bills, or any fancy or cool serial numbers in these circulated stacks of bills. I hope you enjoy this bit of bill hunting with me.

Among the most sought-after U.S. paper money of the late 1960s are the short-lived "Barr" Notes. The bills feature the signature of then Secretary of the Treasury, Joseph W. Barr. Barr had a relatively short term of office, the shortest of anyone that has held the position (December 21, 1968 - January 20,1969), leading to hoarding of these $1 Secretary Barr Notes. These notes are Series 1963B.

i work at a gas station and this year ive gotten 2 silver quarters 1 dime, 1880 penny and 2 binary notes. started looking at notes because of you.

I'm not into the bill searches as much as coin rolls, but I still find them interesting as I don't know much about what features make a collectible bill.
Not to long ago I got a $100.00 star note from my bank. I put it aside.

5:55 on the way to being a mixed ladder, missing the 7. I keep some trinary or other notes of interest, but they add up if just keeping any junk note. Today, I found another 1993 (not a Web), which I keep, and a silver dime.

that first birthday note was 17 digits away from being my exact birthdate. 2007-03-22

I personally really like these hunts. Harder to find cool finds in the bill hunts. But they are possible to get. And this is why I look at all the bills I get in change. I've found 6 2013 "B" series $1.00 in change. Are any of their duplicates out there? I'm still looking. Please keep making these. Always interesting!💯👍

Only 2 Star notes yesterday in about $500
Got a old style 1988 $5 bill the other day that was cut wrong. No white border on top but xtra wide one on bottom. Reverse of bill was normal though.

Been getting great luck with just randomly getting good notes recently, not even hunting
Got a 25025000 from an ATM brand new (got two and they were sequential), and my mom went to the ATM and I checked her bills and one was 25000000, was circulated though but still awesome nonetheless
I’m also out west right now, I plan to get a box of Pennies somewhere and ship em back home
