    Oh my god, I’ve been going back and forth between dramatic and flamboyant natural, I finally realize I’m dramatic classic, I’m tall for my country but not globally tall, I thought I was too tall to be a classic

      Sameeee 😂 I was really like am I SD or FN, for so long time, and today I realised what if I am actually classic? Everyone always tell me I have nice classical bone structure with not anything too big or too small. I guess it's harder to see that on yourself, so I thought I am tall or big etc but I never was bigger than my classmates, always in the middle. And I am 173cm. My bones was never sharp but you can't say they are broad or blunt, definitely aren't. And also I don't LOOK taller or smaller than I actually am, people always assume my height right. So literally everything point that I am classic, soft or dramatic.

    @MichelleSMV Před rokem +5

    I’m pretty sure now I’m a dramatic classic. I’m pretty overweight so I look softer but majority of my weight gain has been in my thighs and legs (and now that I’m even more overweight than I used to be my arms and upper body).
    I noticed I look better if the fit of things are more precise and slightly sharp. But I don’t look absolutely awful in a lot of other shapes either so I can wear other things but it’s not my best

    I always score as a Dramatic in the Kibbe test, but I have almost as many Classic features. I had 8 A-answers, one B, and 6 Cs. I am a slightly leggy 5'7" with a definite figure, not a rectangle. Overall, I am moderate with yin/yang aspects, but my face has mostly dramatic features (similar to Diane Kruger's except my nose is longer and wider). It has been hard to accept that I am a pure dramatic. When I was still working in an office, I wore mostly dramatic classic lines, and they were perfect on me, but I think a lot of kibbe types can pull off classic lines. I guess I identify as a DC, lol. Maybe I just have a classic essence. I won't let myself get frustrated over it, though. I could dress myself before I ever learned about Kibbe types. Its just a fascinating subject.

      @Citrus That is a good point! When I exclude facial questions, though, I still get more one more A than C. LOL. That makes sense, though, because it is consistent.

    • @parker.100
      @parker.100 Před 8 měsíci

      What helped me was trying the lines for the types and settling on what fit and looks best. It's DC, hands down. The test esp some of the restrictions around height are outdated. I do like to add elements from other types, mainly flamboyant gamine and some natural stuff. But as a classic you only need 1 or 2 touches and they make a huge impact.

    When I took the kibbe test, I sort of first labelled the three parts seperately before judging I'm a dramatic classic. My answers were maximum C's with A/B here and there, most specifically I'd say my bone structure had lots of B's which makes it natural, body flesh scored more A's so it was dramatic. But almost all my facial features were C's plus few C's from above which made it classic. So, in the end, I'm a dramatic classic. It was good to finally understand my body type, I searched up celebrities and analysed their charecteristics and learned it's pretty similar to mine altho I'm a bit underweight compared to them. But honestly, this fashion advice and all might enhance my natural beauty but I don't personally like the style at all. I prefer soft colours over geometry, I like baggy clothes rather than fo fitting ones, I like to wear cute jewellery and try out different makeup looks than the simple elegant you're saying, there's nothing wrong with that obv but I just don't vibe with it. My personality is more like a rainbow flower, yknow those sun shaped ones lol. I like to express myself as such too. Maybe I'll have to figure out a way to convert my personal aesthetic according to my body type bcz I truly want to enhance my natural beauty too. Contradictory ik but wish me luck or a few tips XD

    I fit closest with dramatic classic (5’4” trim but not overly sharp, feminine, but not round or blunted), and color season, I seem to align most with a soft summer…? I think. I have light olive skin (quite yellow, but I tan easily). I have gray blue eyes and a neutral brown hair color, between medium and dark. It’s tough to find colors that fit me, in the more classic style cuts. I also work outdoors often and find myself in utilitarian clothing (work boots, bulky pants, long sleeve t shirts). I feel like I’m missing the boat on my style and coloring, because of my daily routine needs & the unavailability of colors & tailoring in the clothing I need to wear most often.

      There is a system by Dwyn Larson, so you could be 2 types (or more). You just have to find your dominant type and then the secondary. Kibbe system doesn't work for all the women in the world. We can't have only 13 types, it's too limited.

    I've been trying to pinpoint my type for years, but I think I might be dramatic classic? My body is pretty in proportion of a classic, and I have a oval face shape, but I also have deepset down turned eyes (small/medium size), small thin mouth, long neck, large hands, narrow shoulders, and a straight/longer nose. My height is 5'4. What are your thoughts? Any help would be amazing!

    • @FilosoFashion
      @FilosoFashion  Před 2 lety +3

      It's a bit difficult to identify the type just by mere description without seeing. The easiest way to figure out is to turn to Larson system which is based on Kibbe's typing. You can definitely find your type there, as they include all possible "Mixed Types" those that don't fall into Kibbe's original 13 types.
      I have a short introduction here: filosofashion.com/dwyn-larson-system-body-types-for-kibbe-admirers/
      You just scroll down the article and find the 4 types face image (Natural, Gamine, Dramatic and Romantic). Start analysing your face in detail writing down which feature belongs to which type. For example (big head - Gamine, Round eyes - Romantic, etc) Then analyse your body. Like this you will figure out which type is dominant in your appearance and which type is secondary (normally we are a mix of 1 dominant and 1 or 2 secondary).

    • @lucyk2634
      @lucyk2634 Před 2 měsíci

      Oh if everything is objectively perceived of what you said, I mean if everything you said is right, then you are DEFINITELY Dramatic or Flamboyant natural type. You aren't classic of any sort because they are moderate without anything bigger or smaller, very proportional. But your long neck and large hands really cuts that off, you definitely aren't classic. Also do you know there is a length limit for types? You are also too tall to be a classic
