    🙋🏼 ABOUT ME: Hi guys! My name is Alyona. I was born in Russia. I'm a musician. And I love art, makeup, fashion, style and beautiful environments. I love playing with makeup and fashion, but at the same time, I’m quite a minimalistic person. I don't like the idea of being fixated on the body too much. I have an alternative and unconventional viewpoint on beauty, the body types and face shapes. I love helping other women find their "it" and finally discover their beauty and boost their confidence.
    I have several series on my channel that you might be interested in such as: Body Types, Contouring, Makeup History and Makeup Transformations. Also some random beauty hacks about skin care, hair, nails and beauty in general.

    It's pretty interesting to note that weight loss can drastically change the way you percieve your own type. Of course your type never actually changes but your perception does. All this time I thought I'm a soft natural but after losing 15 pounds I can definitely clearly see that I'm actually a soft dramatic

      I know. Had you asked me 10 years ago I would have said “classic”, but 20 pounds later I’ve squared up through the middle and top and not at all through the hip & thigh, which I gather is a Natural thing.

      @@tinad8561 Not necessarily. There are some good videos about kibbe and weight on YT, I think Aly has a recent one! Look at the prime example of January Jones and imagine her with 30 lbs heavier. She might look boxy in her hips, she might gain weight in different areas. She won’t look very lush though, and her bones won’t gain any VISUAL weight to them, and her vertical line won’t change... but she could still look boxy, which is how a lot of people gain weight! The shapes and measurements don’t dictate image ID, but yin yang balance does.

      I have olive skin and dark features and recently discovered that any warm tone colors will naturally make your skin and features glow. such as your eyes, if you have dark eyes or (warm tone eyes) and want them to pop and light up in the sun then wear gold jewlery! Don't do silver unless you have cool tones skin. As for clothes all i used to wear was dark shades which was basically always black clothes. Now when I shop I look for emerald greens, pink peach, orange, dark red, brown, warm yellow and purple which surprisingly looks good. Don't wear pastel or cool colors.
      For makeup eyeshadow I use green, brown or gold ish tones and sometimes silver. for lips use a light pink or dark red. And of course blush, perhaps pink and red.
      As I said I recently discovered there are ways too make your skin and features look beautiful without makeup, now I'm spending hours in the sun and color coding my clothes, so I'm no expert but I hope it helps 😅

    . . I think I have a classic head on a soft classic body, but there’s worse problems to have! Definitely explains why when I’d try on some flowy bohemian natural style, I’d look at myself in the mirror and wonder, “Where the hell did I go?”

    Love your series ! I'm finding it so helpful. I am a classic and like someone else mentioned, I feel I'm more pure classic. Clothes that are more soft classic or dramatic classic just don't look right on me. I'd love to explore this more. As someone else mentioned, it would also be fun to explore essence,

    Quite helpful, thank you! I’m apparently a true classic, and it’s really hard to spot since I don’t know what’s “average” looking unless compared to other body types. It will be good to get dressing approaches.

      Who the heck would know their body type after this video? And what would it matter?I am 5'7 "'and 115 lbs so I am NOT speaking from a scorned obese person! GEEZ I thought this would be informative in some way (like helping to buy clothes online)or something!?in the entrie realm of the world,think about how relevant this video is to ANYTHING?don't mean to ridicule anyone! Butttttt????

    • @maryklatka5989
      @maryklatka5989 Před 3 lety

      @@vickicocosolo2099 It actually makes sense to have an idea of what suits you in terms of personal style. For instance, I am 5'2" and weigh 104 with a straight shoulder length bob. I love gypsy bohemian clothing and used to buy them but then looked ridiculous. However, in simple jeans, tshirts, button downs, etc., I look great.
      Classic styles are exactly what I look best in. That realization has saved me a lot of money and time and allowed me to have a personal look that works for me.
      I probably would have figured this stuff out for myself eventually but understanding the reason why certain things look good and others don't appeals to me. Plus, it's fun!

    Wonderful video! Regarding your question: I think finishing up the series of the "BODYTYPE X VS other "BODY TYPES" would be good and then I'd LOOOOVE to see style videos of the types, to be more precise, style ideas for this fall/autumn or winter and how the specific body types could style themselves.. so basically style videos of body types vs. trends winter/2020.

    • @NerdyNerdUHeard

      or how one single outfit could look good for "gamine/neutral/classic.." and what little twists one could use to make it work for their body type.

    it can be hard to figure out if you're a classic because you're not sure if you're just "copping out" because you can't identify anything that stands out in your body. It took me over a year to finally settle on DC, which was my first guess anyway :p

    Thank you for this. I now see that I am Dramatic Classic and not Soft as I initially thought. It was just a little extra weight that threw me off. I am 170 cm tall and my shoulders are slightly broader than plain Classic.

    • @ceciliabortoluzzi2301
      @ceciliabortoluzzi2301 Před 3 lety

      But 170 cm is too tall for classic. You are probably more likely to be natural or flamboyant natural or even a dramatic.

    Hi, thank you for these videos! It'd be awesome to see a video about natural vs. soft natural etc... It seems most women are a mix. What are the main characteristics to look for? It seems there are too many overwhelming details for the general beginner...

  • @Lilah_Ninigigun_Belet-Eanna

    Can you pleeeease do a video on Makeup/Hair/Clothes for Cool Olive skintones? I have no warmth at all in my natural hair (soft ash black) and eyes (pale smokey grey-blue, no warmth). I have purple/blue veins and look a bit grey-toned. EVERY time I go to a makeup counter or hairdresser they always recommend gold/yellows/oranges/corals which I think looks dreadful on me. Nude lipsticks also look awful. Women with Olive Skin, the struggle is real...lol.
