I don’t get why so many people don’t like this movie. The originals are classics but this one is good in its own right
I’ll be honest I watched this movie in its entirety and gave it a fair chance it’s not the worst thing ever some jokes aren’t funny the effects are pretty cool the plot is basically the first movie but this has alot of SNL humor which is ok Chris hemsworth being in here was random and felt out of place love the guy, all in all the movie is skippable it’s not terrible but it isn’t great it’s ok
the reason why people dont like this movie is the politically correct anti man vibe it portrayed as well as the jokes just being cringe

This movie isn't as bad as the legend says. But it always feels like something made as a pilot for TV and never picked up by any networks because it didn't quite come off.

I personally didn't like GB ATC, but if I'm being completely honest 1:03 was definitely the highlight of the film. Holtzman was def the best part of this entire movie.
I would like it if they worked Holtzman into the new movies. Perhaps there are alternate worlds, one where the ghostbusters were all female. For whatever reason, Holtzman crosses into ours, can't get back, so joins the Spengler fam.
If they make a sequel to this film (which they probably won’t), they’d better do Chris Hemsworth justice.
Also Holtzmann is the absolute best character in the film and you can’t change my mind.

When I first saw them in the China Headquarters I really like it's cool
I suppose it was a plothole of OG Busters that they could have afforded that firehouse even after mortgaging Ray's house, even if, as they described, the firehouse was lousy, and in a bad hood. There's still property taxes and fix up expenses and so on and they had yet to make a dime. But the firehouse was a cooler base of operations. But an apartment above a Chinese restaurant makes more financial sense.
This clip sums up this movie, mile a minute jokes that maybe some land but quickly get over done and get progressively dumb down. Like the don’t listen and quickly cover eye was just about ok, then when he hit the bong and cover his eyes again it just seem extremely dumb.
I wish this abomination never happened, what a stain on the name. So glad Afterlife stepped in to redeem it.
This movie got ghosted.

about a 1/3 through the movie. She was there right when they started the business. When they got their first customer she yelled out "We got one"!
Not really. It was like Jeanine was the glue that held the whole business together and she bossed them around. They dropped off all their messy receipts and bills and she made sense of it all and it was like she tolerated them.
Janine was never treated like an idiot. She was a woman looking for a job and they were hiring. She didn't believe it in the beginning and was cynical and funny but when it started going she jumped in. This was nothing but a feminist man hating film that fell flat because that's what gender biased films do, they lose money.
Holtzman is so hot 😭

I dont mean to Debarge in the comments but this was a decent movie just not that ghostbusters feel kinda like IT or the chucky remake love the idea just delivered wrong. They couldn't remake this because technically the original Ghostbusters wouldnt exist
