    This is the first few videos of 2024, I have set a goal to clear the hillside of all smaller trees to open up the tree canopy allowing more sunlight to the floor. I know my parents would like more of a pasture for the goats and future animals.
    Thank you for watching

    Now you can see the trees in the forest! Start making some topsoil! With all those leafs and grass from your cut properties and saw dust. You just need some place to pile it up and work it!

      Good afternoon Dan, I was thinking about making a large compost area. But once the road is done i should have no problem bringing in soil.

    Learning by doing. Each time you get one down and see what you could have done better makes it easier next time. Practicing on trees that give you the least amount of chances to go bad is wise.

      Good afternoon Eagle777dh , thank you it means a lot! If I had someone with more skill then myself I would love to get into some bigger trees. But for now I have so many small or dead trees like these that I can practice on..
      Thank you again for taking time out of your day to not only watch but to comment helpful information.

    I've heard that if you're going to miss on the trigger cut, you want to miss slightly low.

    Why would you burn (waste) that pile of logs, that would make great firewood.

    • @joesoutdoorexperience
      @joesoutdoorexperience  Před 6 měsíci

      Good morning Tractordan, I do apologies for the late response! We don't really sit out by a fire and or have many fires.. At my house we have a wood deck and tend to burn with propane. I plan on getting rid of these poles and once the road to the back of my parents property is complete I will be overhauling the little wood yard I made.
      Thank you for taking the time out of your day to not only watching but commenting too, sorry again.

    What a waste. SMH.... So what jf you wont use it. Sell it or give it away to someone who will use for firewood. Sheeesh.

    • @joesoutdoorexperience
      @joesoutdoorexperience  Před 6 měsíci

      Good evening Riprock! I would have no issue giving it away if it was easier to get out of my parents yard/property! Untill the access road is completed I don’t have the equipment to haul it out in mass quantity.
      Once the road is in I would like to start selling bundles, and I have a local guy with a saw mill I would love to take some black walnut too.
      I definitely going to burn most of it some of the bigger pieces I may stack in a square and fill with some brush for rabbits and small animals.
      Thank you for taking the time out of your evening to watch and comment.

      These days, it's more about knowing which palms to grease.
