I went through this in the past. I did something very similar and they came back to me. I accepted that she was probably gone, focused on myself and bettered myself as a person. The biggest thing for me though was changing my perception of a relationship, I let my insecurities about our relationship drag me down causing me to be needy and generally "chasing" after her. I learned to ackowledge that she is just one part of many of my life and let her come to me instead of chasing. After a few months she reconnected with me and things have been going well for near 9 months.

Being able to reflect on things I realized my depression played a huge role in making my girlfriend feel neglected, I stopped being present, happy, lighthearted, and fun I basically went from treating her as a partner to a therapist. I've been since then working on myself seeing a real therapist and achieving goals I had on the back burner for a while and have really been able to find peace with myself. I tend to get complacent and too comfortable. My world will stop revolving around me and more around her. Big mistake for me. I forget that I'm doing things (ie. hobbies, friends, working) for me not for her. Keep yourself busy and immersed in your life. Bring her into your life and see if she fits in. If not, cut ties and move on. Tripp is right about leaving it alone. If it happens, that's great. I most definitely agree about the abundance mentality. Get out and meet again. Practice your social skills and reconnect with society. You'll see that there's a lot of potential out there.

My depression and mental issues at the time cause me to act in a not so desirable way. She left me soon after and blocked me, which pushed me to seek a therapists help.

This is good advice. We can't force people to love us, be happy around us, or want us, but it's always best to acknowledge that there's always someone better for you in the world. I'm not saying we should completely hide our emotions and be cold hearted about it, but as long as she realizes that she chose to leave you and become another stepping stone for your learning benefit in your quest to find a woman, then that's the important thing. Detaching from her will be painful, but remember that it is always an opportunity to get on a different path to a better life with another one that is better for you.
Since you asked, I was talking with a girl at work, and it wasn't like I was trying to be her boyfriend or anything, but she was showing signs of attraction toward me, and I was trying to learn from her on how to talk to girls better. One day she blurted out "...I'm going to teach you Spanish." I was so happy that she would spend time with me to do that, but she tested me (I'm pretty sure), basically seeing if I would have enough mental fortitude to not give in to her, and one day she told me "go ask Aurora to teach you Spanish. She knows how to speak it properly," and from then on, she has implied that she doesn't want to be around me. I'm pretty sure I failed her tests, and didn't show enough manliness for what she wanted from me. Even though it wasn't really a relationship to start with, it was still painful to go through, and it made me feel worthless and feel that maybe I'll never get a woman that I want. I'm still young and fairly good looking, and there's still a small sliver of hope that I can recover from this and earn her affections, but if not, then that's a sign that there's someone better for me. God always gives us the best in life.

Well I started well in the beginning, living my own life, doing what I love and not making her my whole world. Until little by little I started to become insecure, afraid of her, too available, and make my life hers. I lost myself and the love I had for myself in the 2 years and a haft relationship I was in.
She eventually dumped me because of my behavior- neediness, lack of emotional strength and acting desperate.
After five months of our breakup we meet again and we kissed and had an intimate moment. Than I started to rush into it and my anxiety got the most of me, that she's ignoring my text messages. Well I'm working on myself now and putting myself in a position that I ain't got time to waste thinking of her too much. I'm building the future I want now.

@@takitajwar8525 think of trust as building a wall. Takes time but once it's built then things are good. As soon as you lie, you break that wall. You have to start from scratch again and build it up. Don't tell her to trust you. You tell her you'll be better and you BE BETTER than what you were. And do it. Don't say you will and change nothing or that's a one way street to single life

ive been working out every other day this month, i bought a new appartment, and im still trying to fix the issues i ran into last november. some legal issues still linger, my employment is still uncertain, but my medical issues have been resolved.
my girlfriend really liked the letter, and i took my girlfriend out to dinner, and she was very sweet, she kissed me and was talking about going on a trip to Belgium. she was very enthused about seeing me again.
i invited her over for christmas, i had presents for her and her family.
she didnt show up. it broke my heart. the next time i saw her she was very cold.
at this point shes so emotionally abusive its best for me to just find another girl.
this is going to be difficult, even though i'm pretty good looking, and tall, i'm looking for a sweet girl, preferably with some nerdy interests, and those seem rare.
i dont miss her, but i do miss the girl she was when i met her, but not the horrible cold woman she has become. i really dislike her.

I felt like space was needed, so for 2 months I decided to basically cut her off from my life... Long story short, I started to talk to her again. I had something going for a couple months with a girl I really liked. Tripp, I tell you what, I love your videos, they helped me out a lot a few years ago when SHE messed up with me. Well, time passed and I found a new, exceptional woman. Man, she was willing to do anything for me...She found out from another woman on social media that I was messaging that one (with screenshots) on social media. My girl questioned me about it and I lied, then tried to cover up the lie with more lies....a whole horrible, cowardly mess. After talking to a therapist, I found out why I messaged that girl on social media, it was my fucked up way of finding out if I truly loved my girl. I felt horrible for messaging that girl on social media (in total 6 messages back and forth within 3 days) but didn’t have the balls to say the truth. So, she left me, said she knows I will try to be better, and she hopes to see it one day. So, after one week of shaming myself, I started talking to a therapist and working on myself, developing a game plan for my future. Other factors came into play such as a promiscuous past, and having a low income job. I’m currently working to change all of my circumstances by developing my character. I feel empowered by doing this for myself and my betterment, but deep down I do want to earn her back. I’m writing all this to embrace vulnerability, accept constructive criticism, and hopefully help some other man or woman before its too late.

I had a girl who i met through a friend come stay with me at my place for about a month after her ex had beat her up. She made all of the moves in the beginning and in my mind she was well outside my league but she was set on sleeping with me almost right away. I messed up due to outburst in an argument we both weren't in good spots in life. Things we both needed to fix to become more stable. But i said a couple things in our fight that i regret people say things they don't mean in the heat of thr moment. But me and her had something really special. We can talk about every topic two people can ever share. From religion to politics to sex to family issues and we saw eye to eye on literally everything. We would be on the phone for 14 hours a day when we didn't hang out. We lived about an hour from each other. She was Air Force aswell but she got out to pursue school. But things never got boring it's insane. We would just chill on the phone while we played video games. Watch tv and movies together while on the phone. We loved the same things in life and she wanted me to live with her when we got our life together. We even wanted to retire in the same country we had same taste in houses decorating. Food. She completed me. If only you knew the things we had plans for. It got to a point where she said WE for everything. I loved that. And she was Latina. Which is my fav ❤❤❤ she is perfect for me. She even told me she would never truly leave for good unless i cheated. Which i would never. But she has my number blocked etc. So i just hope she is telling me that we just need time apart for awhile so we both can fix our lives more so we can rekindle in the future. She loves that kind of story like the notebook and ross and rachels relationship where eventually they come back as a better person. She said no guy will ever match her intelligence level like i do. That it doesnt matter if another guy has his shit together a great job, car, home. She would always choose me because our deep connection. Before i met her she had an ex that really fucked her over and after awhile of seperation she met up with himto see if he changed and better spot and improved which he didnt so she got rid of him. Because she believes actions speak louder than words too. I want to marry this girl and build a family with her one day. So I'm doing what i need to do so when we talk again one day she sees i really meant what i said amd prove that shes my soulmate and that words in a stupid fight shouldn't toss out everything we had and would and will have. So I'm staying positive that one day i can be her friend and rekindle amd gain her trust back. Even learning how tto dance and speak Spanish to impress her one day.

She's a close friend I hadn't seen in over 2 years (we live in different states) and I was fighting off my stronger feelings for her. Even apart, we'd text regularly and it'd always be fun, teasing, a bit flirty, engaging, and we started talking in a way that was probably TOO familiar. I surprised her with a visit to her city to see her and old friends. We met while she was on a break at work, got to talking, hit it off pretty well, then she got to talking about her new relationship and told me a bit about him. I knew she had recently started seeing someone and that was fine. Throughout the conversation we joked, kept it fun, still flirted with her, similar to how we talked in the past. I did have strong feelings for her but I pushed those aside and didn't want to jeopardize our relationship or her romantic one. We made plans to meet a couple of days later and spend the afternoon together. We went our separate ways and it seemed like everything was good. No indication, explicit or implicit, that anything was wrong.
I get a text from her about 30 min later saying that it was great to see me but, even though she was in a relationship, she has only ever thought of me as a friend. She wanted to clear the air and wouldn't feel comfortable meeting if I did have feelings beyond friendship. It caught me off guard. I fucked up my wording but tried to explain that my interests were elsewhere (mostly true: I had been dating around recently and I was fully focused on my work, but I was also trying to get over deeper feelings for her as well). I didn't want there to be awkwardness or have her wondering if I was making a move or whatnot. She thought that wasn't clear enough and that I was disrespecting her and her new relationship. I immediately clarified what I meant. She thanked me for explaining but said she didn't believe me and didn't want to get together. She was "not mad, just uncomfortable" and hoped I'd have fun with my other friends while in town.
This was a week ago and I haven't reached out since her last message.
It was heartbreaking that she would cancel and shut me down in a matter of a couple of texts, especially since we were so close as friends and this was the 1 chance we had to see each other. She expressed no trust, no benefit of the doubt, and no patience. It was one of the worst instances of inconsiderate disrespect I have EVER experienced from a friend. I'll admit, maybe I was too familiar and flirty in person (but hardly any physical contact beyond our initial hug at the start). That dynamic is different than text or even phone call and I didn't consider that as a possible issue. It was similar to how we've talked in the past and it hasn't been a problem before.
I'd like to have her in my life but not if this is how it's going to be. I won't stand to be so quickly dismissed and disrespected by anyone, especially on a one-time special occasion like that. I'll certainly hold back on getting too familiar again, especially while she's with someone, but I'm not going to walk on eggshells because she doesn't trust me and thinks I'm jealous. If we do come back to good terms, she's going to have to earn MY trust back.
It's damn disappointing that, especially if a woman says she's "uncomfortable", she probably won't come back around on her own anytime soon. She has a lot going on in her life, she's perpetually busy, and we don't have to see or speak to each other due to our locations. Wish this wasn't her, potentially, last impression of me. We've always clicked and had awesome chemistry, even just as friends. And I certainly didn't have any intention of doing anything inappropriate or crossing any lines had we met up.
However....I'm not sure if I want her back in my life after this. In the last year she's become terrible at communication and we've gradually spoken less and less. I want us to have an equal investment in our relationship if we do end up having one of some kind. I won't put her on a pedestal. I won't carry our friendship.

I was naive, I met her while already in a relationship. The transition took a toll, I didnt have my shit together, putting too much on the back burner.
