Definitely getting her cleaned up. Stripping those parts down and painting some of the stuff individually is the key for a nice job. I see so many of these painted and they never take the ac starter or alternator off and it looks like crap. I’ve never had a booth I use plastic hung off my overhead door rails and there’s one window we put a box fan in. We’ve done what you’re doing here to 2 tractors…..man it’s a lot of work but it looks nice. Looking forward to the final product
Are you going to do anything with the exterior lights, maybe upgrade to LED? How is the inside of the cab, maybe going to put a new cab kit in it? Will look nice when you are done. Back in 1990, my grandfather and my uncle's tried out a 4455, nice tractors.
That job is a lot of work but the way you are going at, I think the results will be worth it. I look forward to seeing the results. Thanks for sharing.
I have one of the large inflatable paint booths, make sure to get an extra exhaust fan, otherwise they don't move enough air. Will turn out some nice clean paint jobs for what it is. Good luck!
Yeah I know this video was back a couple months ago. But what was the part number on those twisted chisel points you got for your chisel plow did you get them through deer?
OK I like watching his video and the way that he explains stuff I been watching for about one year heard about your channel while watching joyce brother channel gladthat I did
The old paint stripper than contain Methylene Chloride worked much better than what’s on the market today. But the good ole EPA banned it about 5 years ago. Like most things this day and time if it works the government will take it away from the consumer. Enjoy your video especially the explanations of what you are doing.
automotive paint is stupid expensive. I am restoring a mcormick deering manure spreader for my SAE project. 500 dollars at NAPA for a gallon of ih red gallon of primer quart of IH white paint quart of hardner and a quart of reducer and I about fell over when I heard the total. Good thing my grandpa let me use his gate card
It's going to be a great looking tractor when you all get done with it 👌
I seen her finished and still addicted to watchin it come together ❤

She gonna look real good boys! I’ve never seen a inflatable paint booth, curious how it works👍🏻

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately the booth didn’t come in time enough to use it. Stay tuned.
You oughta blow some minds, and paint it red.

Yes they come from Deere. They are just a 3” twisted point.
@@TheCropCritic sweet, thanks!! Hope the tractor comes out good.
@@TheCropCritic on the parts catalog, it shows one twisted concave and then there’s a twisted flat which one would yours be?
You want the flat.
She’s gonna look brand new
I thought you were going to start working on your planter

Do you know the difference between a motor and an engine don't you ? A motor is electric , an engine is a n internal combustion power plant !!!!!
Yes I know. It’s just what we call them down here.
We say motor here in the Midwest…lol
