Something interesting to me is that while the manadome field spell had the standard search and atk boost of the other worlds, the usual pop is replaced with an effect that counters pops. Is it because they are a positive emotion instead of a negative one?
So we're getting a Pendulum Visas world, based on a basic emotion we haven't covered yet? That'd certainly be a "surprise"

So the 2 last emotions Visas will go through will be disgust and surprise. Considering how Konami has been treating Pends ever since the introduction of links, it's a pretty safe bet that Pend Visas will represent surprise.
Anyway, I must say that the references and symbolism in the Visas lore are just super fascinating, and really makes it very distinct from the other big lores now that I know about them, it's really making Visas's story interesting in it's own unique way. I like the way they're going with it.
Also shout-out to Primeheart for using the ultimate technique to fend off evil, the rider's kick.
Considering the general opinion of yugioh player, i bet pend will get the disgust
I love this a lot thematically. While listening to the Lore I love that you need to pick a path with Visas and stick with it in regards to the archetypes as paths to follow. You might even find some cheeky ways to get the other Ascended Forms, but for the most part you must pick a path and commit to it while finding ways to minimize that gaps others could use to overcome the path you choose to walk.
I think visas goes crazy since he absorbed to many bad vibes (scareclaw=fear,TearLament=sa-dness, and kashtira=anger)
When Prime-Heart does the kick all I can think of is a Kamen Rider finisher, so if I play them I'm gonna use the trap name when Prime-Heart attacks

@@aghadlarhen9397 well the masked heros and inzektors are based off of super sentai and kamen rider, its just for Prime-Heart my mind goes to kamen rider build who uses 2 material to make different forms and all riders have a ultimate kick finisher
It’s a straight up reference to a kamen rider, can’t remember which one, but his colours use a fair amount of white and he strikes an almost identical pose to prime heart in reframing. I Think he might be one of the newer ones

I remember seeing a small theory about how Visas is hunting these other “hearts” because they are all fragments of himself, the embodiments of different emotions. He maintained neutrality, and has so far hunted down sadness, fear, and anger, as well as regained joy from his fractured psyche. This definitely fits what we’ve seen so far
Goddamn, the Vamana connection was a mind blower, incorporating boots to connect to the story about the steps, and his final attack is a kick, stepping on Astroud.
God these lore vids help me appreciate these decks even though I don’t care for their playstyles. It’s such interesting lore. Also, I would expect the Albaz story to be better as it is lasting longer and possibly getting a part 2 maybe unlike Vsauce which is just much shorter. Hence why I want a lore anime
I'm honestly really enjoying the World Destruction Lore more than the Abyss Lore simply because it feels more psychologically involved and the lore is rich with detail and attention to detail
Another thing to note, each archetype, like in the previous storyline, uses a different summoning mechanic. We may be able to get a new Pendulum archetype, alongside a ritual one as those are the last ones left. That said the Albaz story didn't use any Pendulum archetypes so who knows.
We'll get a tribute summon archytipe instead of pendulum kekw

@@nerazim1110 i mean we could get a high level version of Visas that you need to tribute, or a pendulum version, for some reason in my mind when I think of an upgrade to an monster the first thing my mind thinks is, they become Pendulum, i guess it's because of Zefra and the Odd-Eyes scene in the anime.

After watching this video, I gotta say, I absolutely adore these in depth videos. Lore is so interesting, and seeing how it ties into the card design makes me really appreciate this a lot more. Great video!
I like the Visas lore. The story is not like Albaz but it’s more about how will he break the cycle or continue the cycle. Different stories since Albaz just finished but will continue. Also expect a Pendulum or Ritual Visas archetype soon and hope it doesn’t end like the Dracoslayer story.

There are some detail that maybe you are missing, Sclash allows a Scare or Visas to battle in defense position, that certainly can be considerated as a mid point between attack and defense mode, so probably is the way Visas defeated Triheart, like in the 4th avatar Story

In this lore there could also be a lot going on linguistically (or at least there was at the beginning, I admit, I got a bit lost now with the Manadome):
Scareclaw: fear -> Field spell: Reichphobia - Reich (German) = realm, phobia - (Greek) fear
Tearlaments: sadness -> Field spell: Perlereino - reino (Spanish) = realm, perle - maybe pearl as in tear?
Kashtira: anger -> Field spell: Wraitsoth - wrath = anger, is there a language, in which "realm" is something like "isoth"? I first thought of říše (Czech) as in Riseheart, but it doesn't fit with the field spell any more
Manadome: happiness -> Field spell: Kalarium - no idea, but maybe the suffix "-rium" which derives from latin and always describes a location or habitat and which could be seen as realm?
I got curious about it and tried every language in Google Translator. The closest translation to kingdom I found for soth was சொத்து in Tamil, which means, property or real estate.
Gonna see about the next set for them. The new field spell confirmed there are 6 planets. I guess Age of The Overlord set is the best bet for them to show up in.

I ADORE how high concept all of this lore is! I wonder what happens when he achieves all six? Will it be some sort of reincarnation? Will he like... "wake up?" I'm noticing seemingly a Japanese architectural theme where that seems to apply? So not sure what that could be? Another hint that the Happiness world is OG Visas' head is that OG Visas is light attribute like this new one too, so unclear!

The Sacred Beasts, Wicked Gods and Norse Gods were all originally Divine, but were changed because they wanted to make them playable and hadn't decided on allowing Divine Beast/Attribute on playable cards.

Thank you for the work you put into this. Its extremely well done with the lore analysis. When you mentioned the "Dark" attribute for Kurma, but there is already a "Heart" monster that took the attribute called ReichHeart. Maybe "Wind" is for Kurma since that and the Earth attribute are all that's left?
I personally think that that Visas becoming Astroud and attacking Riemhart IS the kali yuga, and MAYBE this wasn't Visas's first?
We were told Visas was a warrior who went around the world freeing them from tyranny, and he seems to be fairly skilled enough to dispatch Reichart without much problem, and seems to know what to do with his other personas. So what happened before?
Maybe this wasn't Visas's first time killing Riem, and falling into the Boundless Consciousness, until they can get out after the worlds reborn again.
What I'm saying is Visas storyline give me some Re:Zero + Duel Terminal vibes and I love it.

I know the deck doesn’t seem that great rn but I’ve done some experimenting with a small scare claw engine, and the deck can end on a swordsoul endboard + bystials
I seriously am becoming a huge fan of Visas Starfrost and its archetypes that follow his lore. So far, there's been 4 counterparts that represent 4 basic emotions (fear, sadness, anger, & joy). The other two waiting to be made (Surprise & Disgust) are still out there in the form of the remaining two attributes (wind & earth). The one big question I want to know from other fans is, if they'll be a pendulum archetype for the Visas Starfrost lore? I've been hearing a lot from others that Konami hates pendulums and I admit have never used them, but has never shut down my curiosity to try them. Rituals is definitely gonna happen for Visas, its just a matter on which emotion and attribute Konami will fit it with.
Shit as a mythology nerd and who grew up hindu, I suprised i didnt even notice the vishnu stuff in the other archtypes! And im just so happy you like Narasimha since he is has been my fav god since i was a kid. Keep on rolling with these vids nova!
ReichHeart is Dark attribute so the next two Heart clones would be Wind and Earth.
Though that is true, it probably will be more likely that the 2 other clones are dark and wind. The reason for this like it was said in the video, manadome hearless (the reichphobia planet) is earth. Another reason that supports this is the Kashtira scareclaw.
@@stormextreme3970 Scareclaw Kashtira is based on acro/astra/belone who are all earth attribute. For Tears, you can’t really apply the same logic as only two monsters were water attribute, kitkallos/rukallos (and Tearlament Kashtira is based off that). There really isn’t any clear correlation to the mini Manadome attributes and the other worlds
@@aaronmitchell5800 I'm just saying that it would make more sense for them to be based off the manadomes. If you check the art of the manadomes it is very evident that they are based off a specific world.
In meek's card art it has a shrunken perilimo, and a little sea creature. In hearless it has some sort of humanoid wolf-like creature, and in the background it has similar terrain to reichphobia (even the same rock that reichheart sits on).
It could be either I'm just saying based off of the card art of the manadomes, it seems more likely for it to be dark and wind.

So our last two summoning methods are Ritual and Pendulum. How can these be used to depict the stories of Kurma and Varaha? Perhaps the ritual spell could depict the churning of the sea of milk?

Interesting detail regarding Prime-Heart: We actually see Prime-Heart's right pauldron on Visas Starfrost's arm in Tearlaments Heartbeat. Which is significant because that's when Visas is absorbing Kaleido-Heart's power.
Fear, Wrath and Sadness...Where have I heard that before? (Darkspine Sonic? Is that you?!)
Wow, first Atlantis and now Buddhism, I've learned more about this stuff from Yu-Gi-Oh than school.
I really think the defeat of Kaleidoheart looks like Visas is sticking his sword into the portal and stabbing Kaleido from the inside or something, Kitkalos looks concerned and not really like she's doing the killing.
Just a few more weeks to see reveals towards more support on manadomes and the next world.
Since Hinduism is the way of the game for Visas Starfrost, I'd like to see what the EARTH and WIND counterparts of Visas Starfrost would look like. I imagine the WIND counterpart to have long, wavy air with I'm guessing a green and white costume design. The green would symbolize the WIND Attribute and the white would represent the clouds or sky itself. I imagine the EARTH Visas Starfrost counterpart to have colors symbolic of the earth such as yellow, orange and brown. I imagine his armor as more heavy duty. I also imagine the hair to be like ordinary and maybe even rock or stone shaped.

Nova I think you are forgetting that the Scareclaw Heart is dark. We only have WIND and EARTH left
The rest of the Scareclaws are Earth, and the manadome representing the Scareclaw world is also Earth. I feel like they were still trying to figure out how they'll do attributes for the Visas look alikes and the rest of the archetype since that was the start of it, since they sort of swapped it around after with Testaments onwards

I don't see why they won't make the last 2 hearts (if we even get them, with how the DUNE cards are looking) not be Earth and Wind respectively.
Until watching this video, I thought the Albaz lore was more interesting too. But now Visas is one of the coolest stories in yugioh imo
Hang on, you suggest that the fifth world is that of the boar but Kalarium is the fifth world.
Riumheart may be functionally closer to resembling a divine incarnation than Visas (at that point in the story) but either way we're diverging from the story of Vishnu's avatars.
It could also be that Vicious Astroud causing the destruction of the tree's fruits is that which is based on the reclaiming of the Trailokya (painting the abomination as the divine would be an interesting twist).

Nope, this archtype is very competitive with Scareclaw engine,. very generic board with Baronne, Borrel and Apollousa.

If we're getting more Heart monsters based on the basic emotions, we'll only have two more summoning mechanics to work with, Ritual and Pendulum, since the rest have already been used up. Kinda disappointing but it would be cool not to see any overlap.

@@kennypk Petals of peach blossoms are teardrop-shaped while each cherry blossom petal has a cleft at the tip. Cherry blossoms has longer stems than peach blossoms and sprout in clusters.

32:21 This statement stunned me. I personally am far more interested in the World Destruction lore, but I absolutely respect Branded enjoyers. I find the Starfrost lore to be far more character-driven. There are numerically fewer characters, sure, but this spacefarer going around to absorb his different counterparts and becoming corrupted by them is way cooler to me than dragon twink falling out of the sky and becoming the main character because Konami said so.
