Do we have to backup system partition as well? What if we just take a backup of data & later restore it along with the fresh stock ROM image (same version)? Will that work? Was thinking to skip System partition save space & any boot conflicts.

Hey I made backup of only system and boot (not data) if I restore will I get my original rom( it ok if without data)

+hunny malhotra bro it is just a code made for security of your backup...if you have md5 in your backup then no third person can restore this backup in other phone

Vasilis M no, because why should a Recovery do that? the backing up is mostly for partitions sides. for backing up your personal data. You can better use a pc and a usb cable and do it manually. (even maby you know this allready after 4 months ^^)
