There were so many Greek slaves and sultana but kosem was the most famous
with Greek Anastasia, the show had a very romantic and poetic space. her and Ahmet were like Romeo and Juliet, which this show was supposed to be like! a historical drama very similar to a collection of Shakespearean tragedies. her accent was making it more historically accurate as well. but no, they had to chose one of the famous actresses for role! no offence to Beren Saat fans but she really can't play the young innocent girls in a poem like romantic relationships. she had to be become the person Hurrem turned into after years and a lot of development in just one episode! and do they have color blind problems? look at the hair!
But it can’t be always Romeo and Juliet. Kosem was not just known as a concubine but a magnificent valide sultana

Young Kosem could've been Valida Sultan as well with years of development and events of the life, but those producers decided to change every dynamic about her in just one episode because they wanted a more famous actress for it, someone who just can't continue like a young innocent girl and develop properly and had to be a completely different person in only one episode, isn't anything like the original Anastasia (which shows how much much colour blind they are as well🤦🏻♀️) and worse part, even that actress also didn't stay, no wonder this show failed miserably compared to the previous one

It’s pity this poor girl later came back instead of running away… Safiye used her sexual awakening for manipulative purposes and convinced her that if you dream about someone (or have a wet dream), it must mean you are in love..
Nasya is so young so she succumbs to that allure of fairytalish dresses & crowns, perfume, guy saying her poetry, especially since she now sees it is the only way to make life in palace bearable instead of just a prison (as Safiye earlier said)… and she makes worst decision of her life.
Going from “I’m not your property” and “I’m not a gift, I’m a human” to believing in Ahmed’s “fairytale” and saying “I belong to him”… is so painful, classic Stockholm Syndrome out of psychology textbook. Now we will have start of Nasya/ Kösem losing her independence in certain way.

But ahmet didn't used her, he only kept her in the palace but she was the one who kissed him and run into him( if it was becauseof safiya or what else but), as they had first night together , when she asked him about are they going to get private he replied so kind and said, no, nothing will happen to you unwillingly , i will wait for you when you will be ready, i will wait no matter how longs it take!

Why she didn’t continue playing the role ? Why all of the sudden Berem Saat replaced her? I think that transition was very drastic knowing that everything happened like the same night.

The ratings with her (blonde girl) was not high as not many Turkish people knew her at that time and she was an upcoming actress bear in mind that even if the views and ratings outside turkey is very very high it doesn't matter as the channel is Turkish and based in turkey the only ratings that would matter would be the view ratings of the show in turkey not outside turkey. They swapped her in order to increase the show rating in turkey, which was a success after swapping her. International view rating still remained high but the Turkish rating skyrocketed as the replacement (a brunette girl) was a raining famous actress and still is. You can also think of it as the blonde girl was a child turned into a woman (the brunette girl). The timing of swapping them in my opinion was annoying and wrong because sultan Ahmed became sick and all of a sudden at the end of an episode he is with the blonde actress and at the beginning of the next he is with the much mature older looking brunette actress which made him look like he was sick for years.
I liked the first first and she was nore unique than the others and that is what set her apart. The second lady was more like the rest of the female actors. Not looking as innocent and set apart.

I saw episodes with Anastasia Tsilimpiou 4 times, but lost interest in series when she was replaced by Beren. Such drastic was the sudden transformation of Kosem character. No chemistry was left to see between Ahmed and kosem after that to enjoy.

Because the show was trying to emphasise on a kosem who's older more mature and has lost the childish innocence. So they replaced her with someone who's older
Beren Saat was chosen for the role, but she was meant to play the adult Anastasia in time jump, because she is visibly a grown woman. Sadly they included her sooner because audience wanted her. Anastasia (that's also the name of the actress) should be there to a moment where Anastasia turns into Kosem.

They were Shehzade Mehmed (1605- 12/1/1621), Shehzade Suleyman (1613 - 27/7/1635), Shehzade Selim (1613 - 27/7/1635), Shehzadi Kosem Sultan (1606), Shehzadi Atike (1613 - 1674), Shehzadi Zahide (1613 - 1620), Shehzadi Esma (1612 - 1612), Shehzadi Zeynap (1617 - 1619).
Shehzadi Hatice (1608- 1610) was the daughter of Sultan Ahmed I and Mahifiroz Hatun and Shehzade Abide (1618 - 1675) was daughter of Sultan Ahmed I and Fatma Haseki Sultan

She is not meant to be beautiful. She was meant to be innocent. This actress is perfect.
The real Anastasia was of Greek origin and we watch her history at her homeland in the first episode. This Greek actress, Anastasia Tsilimpiou, speaks perfectly both Greek and Turkish so apart from her innocence she fits the role because of it. She can be fluent in both languages and more natural in the role.
