    if you specifically target the extra place races find 4 overpriced horses the night before that are in those races add them to a Lucky 15(Back the lucky 15 each way) do all the lay bets and if luck is on your side you may get a double whammy win from all the doubles ,trebles/4 fold if it comes in to gain maximum value from placing the bets :)

    Another nice video with clear demonstrations! Only bit of advice would be to mention the stakes used and the liability that was required for the P&L you are displaying. A lot of beginners may just look at your QL and assume that's all they need in their bankroll but when you're staking £100 EW you're talking some serious bankroll to cover the liability, especially in the win market 😉

      Yes absolutely, I always recommend people start on smaller stakes and build their way up to the larger stakes when they feel comfortable.
      I plan to make an extra place series in the future which walks through all the aspects of extra places in a step by step arbitrary format for beginners to learn from

    Hello there, love your videos. I have one question, in order to make profit, should it be any offer running on the bookmaker when I place my bets or i can make profit from regular extra places?

      Hi there, you can make a profit with the vast majority of offers that bookmakers provide you with, predominantly free bets. :)

    Another really informative video! Just wondering with method 3, is there a chance of being gubbed if the bookie sees you betting E/W on every horse? Especially if you’re doing this a lot. Cheers!

      Yeah I certainly wouldn’t recommend using the same bookie to bet on each horse, you would need to make use of multiple bookmaker accounts using strategy 3.

      Hi there, these big matches pop up
      In the last 5 mins before the start of the race.

    • @ProfitPineapple
      @ProfitPineapple  Před 3 lety

      Best matches usually come within the last 5 mins before the race is set to start.
      This can be a little stressful when you first start EPs though, so I would recommend watching a few markets without placing any bets just to get a feel how they work.

      @ProfitPineapple  Před 3 lety

      @@alandimery3379 yep in the last 5/10 mins down to post this is where you will get the best matches. Before this nobody is placing any bets so the bookie can keep on top of their odds and keep their prices at poor value.

    How have I only just come across this video 🔥 I've lost count of the amount of hours I've lost on a Saturday afternoon trying to get on Extra places, I presume you can do the ARB extra place strategy with smarkets or is it just Betfair ?

    Why is the extra place dutching done a spreadsheet. Surely odds matching software has the capability to do all the calculation. More room for error manually using a spreadsheet

    • @ProfitPineapple
      @ProfitPineapple  Před 3 lety

      Unfortunately I haven’t come across any odds-matching software for dutching extra places, this would certainly be an amazing feature.
      There is a traditional dutching matcher on OddsMonkey but this is only for standard 2 and 3 way dutching

  • @michaeleast1949
    @michaeleast1949 Před 3 lety +1

    i think only betfair lay the 4 place market so for strategy 2 arbing you cannot use paddy. what kind of race / price do you find is best for the arbing?

    • @ProfitPineapple
      @ProfitPineapple  Před 3 lety

      Yeah that is true, unless there are really high profile races Betfair is the only place you will be able to get on a higher place market.
      With arbing look for ratings of around 90% +, change the place lay odds on the matcher to the odds that are displayed in the higher place market and in most cases this will provide the arb.

    So strategy 3 relies on multiple bookers doing extra place races or you need as many multiple accounts as horses?

    • @ProfitPineapple
      @ProfitPineapple  Před 3 lety +1

      Yep, statergies where all the horses are being covered require multiple bookmakers paying out on EPs or multiple accounts with the same bookmaker.

    great videos - learning a lot - but im guessing you have to have a large bankroll to benefit from these

    • @ProfitPineapple
      @ProfitPineapple  Před 2 lety

      Cheers Markus, I do have a larger bank roll which is very beneficial with covering the field and dutching but the positive EV method can still yield some pretty impressive profits on a smaller bank

  • @omogbolahanadeyemo5887

    With the first strategy, would I back the horses with the same bookers assuming I’m doing 3 or would I back the horses on 3 different bookers to prevent gubbing

    • @ProfitPineapple
      @ProfitPineapple  Před 2 lety

      The rule of thumb is to target no more horses than the number of places that the bookie is paying out on. For example, in a big 20 runner handicap, the bookie may be paying out on 5 or 6 places including the EP’s, you shouldn't exceed this number, although targeting less is of course better for the health of your account

  • @ChuckstaGaming
    @ChuckstaGaming Před 3 lety +1

    I'll be sticking with strat 1 (+EV).
    Doesn't strat 2 (arb) risk getting gubbed/banned?
    Strat 3 (covering the field) is too much hassle for my liking.

    • @ProfitPineapple
      @ProfitPineapple  Před 3 lety

      Strategy 1 is the most popular and is a great strategy to focus your attention on!
      With arbing EPs, generally you will be okay to do this with a bookie providing the prices that you take with them arent value prices therefore the value and the arb is comming from the place lay odds on the betting exchange.

    • @ProfitPineapple
      @ProfitPineapple  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi there, I'm using OddsMonkey and the extra place matcher. Arbing can be achieved by changing the place market that your laying in on the exchange, this makes the place lay odds shorter and creates the arb.

      @@MatchuCx yeah, all your doing is updating the place lay market odds on your EP software with the odds that are in the higher place market on the exchange.

    Hello Liam, been matched betting using PA for a couple of months now and stumbled across your videos. Will probably switch to OM now after your great videos. • @ProfitPineapple
      @ProfitPineapple  Před 3 lety +1

      Hey Bilab,
      Thanks for the kind words, much appreciated.
      With method 2 you are looking to back the same amount of e/w places as you lay on the betting exchange (like shown in the linked video).
      As your laying in the higher place market on the exchange, the odds will be shorter as its more likely that the horse will place, as a result of this you can very often get over a 100% match
