Too true. My cousin was doing a Battle Tower battle once and he missed a 95% Accurate move 6 times in a row. It truly is 100% or 50%.
Unless you are Togekiss with Serene Grace flinching. Then it's 60% = 100%.
@@PopeDuwang If that were a 50% accurate move, the odds of that happening would be just over 1.5%. For a 95% move, it is literally a million times less likely. Exactly a million times, actually.

perhaps that is why all of shady's pokemon were nick named SUB2GBL during the catch phase
of all things i just wanna dissect the thumbnail for half a second by saying that, I get the intention is that you want whatever's in the shiny master balls and whatnot, but anything that's been captured in those beaten-to-death pokeballs has got to be some of the most battle-tested trustworthy pokemon some trainer has ever seen. The freshly captured Zapdos VS the level 89 Electrivire with Thunderbolt, Earthquake, Focus Blast, and Flamethrower
For Shady's sake, as well as those who wish to know, I will quote a Pokétuber by the name of MandJTV aka Mikey who always says, "If it's not 100% accurate, it's 50% accurate!" That's why I always go for accurate moves like Surf or Dazzling Gleam instead of Hydro Pump or Play Rough!
I really don't know why this quote is attributed to him, I'm sure that I at the very least heard Joey say it years and years ago, way before MandjTV did, and even then I have a feeling it was quoting older saying in the community
I think mandjtv did introduce a lot of younger people to the slogon but I'dike to say it's been around since gen 1 atleast 😊

A fun idea for a future video. Have mons with differing levels of accuracy moves based on their power (Ex. Baby mons have 100% moves while Psuedo-legendaries have 70% moves)
Then team building will boil down to are you willing to risk the lesser accuracy for the more powerful mon.

Serperior is my favourite grass starter, purely because on my first play through of white 2 I got a shiny Snivy. I am so happy I’ve finally been able to bring it onto the switch after having it stuck in Y for goodness knows how long. Seeing Shady say it’s his as well for all the hate Seperior gets makes me so grateful

Shady REALLY earned a lot of my respect when he said Serperior was his favorite grass-type starter, because it's crazily gourgeous, and he can also be really good, like, imagine using a Contrary Serperior against a team that uses Sticky Web? Just that and Leaf Storm is enough to just sweep pretty easily, pretty much a Speed Boost, Protect Blaziken, and Serperior's design has something to it, it's really gorgeous. People just be mad because a snake doesn't have arms and legs 😂

@@joerobinson7004 Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon have three qualifiers: 600 BST, 1,250,000 exp to Level 100, and a three-stage evolution. I don’t know if Archaludon has the second one, but it doesn’t have the third one.
