I loved your video, as a pokemon and digimon fan im so interested in this new competitor! Sadly not many people is making videos about it, people just reacts laughing and remarking how many of these designs are just pokemon copies (wich is true), but there is a ton more than that in those trailers. While many are literally a copy paste of existent pokemons like luxray, there are also incredible and original designs. The graphics are too good, the fighting system as you said is more similar to a monster hunter, its Action RPG with guns. The amount of "field skills" those pals have are amazing, for example the fire fox pal can cook the food as can be used as a flamethrower. There is an electric hedgehog that can be used to power your electric appliances as to fishing by shocking fishes in the water. The water pals can be used in the farm, there are ground, water and sky mounts, and some of them with specific animations like big bird and small bird (you being mounted in the big bird but you go hanging by the legs of the small bird, etc)
This game trully have lot of potential, their youtube channel (Pocket Pair) is actually uploading short videos that work as a pokedex, introducing new pals every friday and saturday.

@@CamillaChu Oh that would be nice, im not familiar with the laws behind copyright, I hope they dont get many problems because they have been developing this for so long. Also having more games like this could lead into Pokémon improving certain aspects like for example graphics, since there are obviously going to be a lot of comparisons when Palworld comes out.

Me neither, but would do research! But, I believe it's because it's a "beast-capture" game, which is a genre many are not familiar with. There's loads of indie games, about collecting and battling beasts

@email7919 I like it! I also live when 3D and 2d is combined to 2,5d. Games like Dave the Diver, Born of Bread and Outpath are great examples!

@@email7919 the npcs and pals very much are coherent. Landscape is a bit more lifelike I can agree on, but I still believe it works! Just like it does for many other games, doing the same
pokemon games are dead in the creation like we got flamigo its a flamingo and its name is just flamigo

i mean they are better than flamigo or a dog with a candle on its head then we have the biggest mistake that 1 legendary the red 1 why dose it have tires when it dosent even use them imagine walking around like that if i saw that legendary id kill it just to end its suffering@@CamillaChu
