In this jcs inspired true crime documentary, we take a look at the interrogation of Joel Miles.

We have been made aware of the subtitle issue. Normally we put our own subtitles in the video however this week we decided to upload the subtitles directly to CZcams but for some reason they aren’t working and people are only getting auto generated subtitles. We are doing our best to fix this behind the scenes.

The lesson of videos like this is clearly to leave the gun at home when committing a murder.
Right? Most people don't know their phones are tracked 24/7
Right?? Like, at this point surely everyone knows that their phone tracks their location? It’s been public knowledge for years and there’s been so many well known cases where evidence from phones has been a major factor that anyone that gets caught that way deserves everything coming to them.

I’ve dealt with hundreds of people just like this working in prison. The speech patterns, aggression, constantly accusing others of lying, obsessing with “respect”… yep.
Another thing I've noticed about people lying. They use hand motions and body language to create a more believable story, since his hands are cuffed you see his body movements become more exaggerated.

It still baffles me how attempted murder is such a lighter charge than actual murder. It’s like rewarding a criminal for being incompetent at the crime they intended to commit.

Couldn't agree with you more but our thinking is much to logical for the wheels of so-called justice. The rationale behind these sentencing guidlines must be public information somewhere, I'd really really like to find that.
Consequences for crimes, including murder, have become laughable. The insanity that giving soft sentences will somehow reduce prison population or that someones skin tone makes them a victim and needs consideration has destroyed the inner cities and spilling out across the country.

😂😂🤦🏾♂️
He's in denial, garunteed he actually feels he's not guilty.
So he got a longer sentence for selling drugs than he got for murdering someone. Our judicial system is fucked-up. Jeez.
For real
Yes, yes it fkn is.
You do realize why, right? First, trafficking isn't simply "selling drugs". Also, he'd had major drug charges before (again, not just selling a couple of ounces to his buddies or having a few joints in his car). Third strike guidelines are "mandatory minimums". I'm guessing you know what mandatory means. So presenting it like some judge just de idea that "well, selling some drugs is worse than murder so here's your sentence" is completely misrepresentative and makes your credibility look shady.
And just so you know, he got 15 TO LIFE for the murder, not 15 years. Those are completely different things. And with his record, I highly doubt that in 49 years when he's first up for parole that any parole board says "sure, looks like an upstanding dude, what with the many drug charges, attempted murder and actual murder. Let's let him out!"
It was a 3rd strike drug charge, so it carried a heavier penalty. They don't say, but I'm guessing he never confessed to the murder, nor do they have any evidence that it was premeditated.
He probably got a lesser murder charge because it was based off the eyewitness accounts and the fact that his phone pinged in the area at that time. Not saying the judicial system is perfect by any means.
@@mommy2libras Oh my gawd, you've completely shredded my credibility. I feel such shame. Now excuse me while I look for a dictionary and have someone read to me what the word mandatory means.

FOR A SECOND I THOUGHT THIS WAS BETTLEJUICE
Wow, took this man's life because of a mistaken identity. Poor guy. Rest in peace to him and condolences to his family.🕊️🙏🏾
Wouldn’t be the first time. Happens every day
Cringe
@@bunkmoreland4728 you’re the shittest troll ever you gotta be 15 or younger😂hopefully your parents give you a bit more attention then you probably wouldn’t be so retarded
Rest in peace
Everyone else’s agenda is so obvious! You’re the FIRST comment (they’re listed in reverse chronology) I’ve come across expressing ANY perspective as to the crime & the Victim of this homicide. Hopefully, it’s safe to join my prayer to yours for Mr. Anthony’s family & his friends. 🙏🏽🕯🙏🏽🕯🪷
The way he talks, his thoughts patterns, his mental instability, it's no wonder that he ended up right back in prison. More of an ordeal than an interrogation. Almost felt bad for the detective.
Why is everyone's "Bruh" today?
😂Felt bad for the detective? Stop this victim as shyt them detectives have killed just like the people they lock up. Please go somewhere if you’re this sensitive.
@@Karmakatt6 what?

As a student actor, I'm studying this man's behaviour and mannerisms in detail. It's a goldmine.
😂
I read in a news report that the jury took less than 3 hours to convict, which was probably just long enough for everyone to say guilty and fill out the paperwork.
being mean and angry all the time never helps your case, your reputation follows you everywhere....even if he didnt do it and was framed by the people that dont like him it is because he is an angry little man and everyone wants him to go away,. . . . .
…and, yet, he hasn’t a clue… 😩
I knew people exactly like this this guy back in high school, mad at the world and always doing dirt. I would imagine theyre in the same position as this guy. You have no allies only enimes
Even the gf said nobody likes him lol. Wonder why she did.
@@phyllisportieles4427 she’s in for the ‘free’ gear. Just she pays for it in other ways.
This is a PERFECT Statement of the Way Life IS!
this is the Hard Way to learn this lesson.
It’s amazing how stress free life is when you don’t kill anyone.
Seriously 😒
It's amazing how some uncreative dork feels the need to soak likes with this trite and played out comment on every crime vid
Every video has this comment. Please stop.
@SpaceJockey805 It's amazing how stress free life is when you dont kill anybody.
@@SpaceJockey805it's amazing how stress free life is when you don't kill anybody.
I would pay to see Det. Bigda interview this guy 😂😂😂
Detective should have just kept calling him “angry little baby-man” as a response…😂
That's what most of them are Angry little boys
Detective: Ok little guy, let's get started. First of all, one thing I noticed is that you're _clearly_ gay.
The babyman snake taunt 😂
Baby man
Little baby
Little baby man
Little baby baby baby man
Little BABY!
BABY MAN!!
He really let this asshole dig his own grave. Shit, even if he didn’t cop to the murder he confessed to 34 years worth of felonies, lmfao!!
@@ChrundleTGreat But Detective, I can’t be the murderer, I’m WAY too busy being a drug kingpin! 🤣
This guy is on level 10 ; he gives me anxiety just listening .
I'm only listening to the video, and when he started yelling, my heart started pounding. My anxiety is too high to deal with these types of people
Man, 5 minutes in and I was already sick of listening to his voice.
Me too. ,damn
This the type of dude you dont bet with, he'll either welch or want to fight if he loses
It's always a curious thing to me when criminals get upset about being lied to
Lol it's called hypocrisy, and only a civil person is aware of their own hypocrisy.
I’ve never in my life seen a more guilty person.
Mental illness is real out here as well all can see! Something is seriously wrong with this guy! He called the police on himself claiming he had a alibi only to have Becky snitch on him.... Laughable!!
Yes you have. You e seen a great many of people that are far more guilty for far worse crimes!
You must be a child if you haven’t seen a more guilty person.
Is this an exaggeration because I hope it is?
@@ronaldwashington9820well we'd like to give Squidward here the benefit of the doubt and hope it's just selective memory or very short term memory or has been living off grid for their whole life without any resources to watch any type of TV and or read anything other than children books . Unfortunately that's not very likely so it's most likely like you said is highly exaggerating in the attempt to get a point across .
However when we look at the filthy officials that run countries and or those involved in big pharma , tobacco , and others within our own governments we see that they make this guy look he isn't anything but a jolly Saint Nick.
This guy has a lot of grievances for someone to be out there breaking the law 🤷🏽♂️
Never trust a man who still says "dope"
The ignorance and sheer stupidity coupled with his anger, is truly appalling. Just wow. Sad
Him and others like him are what makes geographic places known as ghettos the ghetto. It's always the people, and that's the people.
Raised by a single mother, you can hear the shouting and interrupting going on, that he nherited from his mother
I do think its ignorance, he believes what he is saying.
He’s exact like my brother who was in house arrest and attacked his surity because they didn’t shovel snow in the driveway when he’s only out of jail because of him and has nothing to do all day so he could’ve just done it himself 😅I’m still laughing until this day.
This is the long talk he’s been needing and wanting for his entire life with the father figure he never had…..
@Steve Martinez ☹️ That’s actually a very GOOD POINT -it’s a SAD POINT & it can apply to daughters as well (HOWEVER it’d be done in a different TONE). 😥🥺
That nahhh i dont need a lawyer attitude 😂😂😂
I left my home country years ago. Went to a strange land. Marriage failed and I ended up with three kids. I work a FT job. I’m a mum, a dad, a boss, I’m always tired, I’m usually cheque to cheque and stress is beating down my body but thank you universe for not giving me this guys life.
So your a real man,thanks.
keep on keeping on, you aren't alone, it will get easier one day, they grow up so fast..
On God
Its not that you had good fortune, either you learned it from you're parents or by someone's example. Keep it up bro!
Yes indeed we should all be thankful for what we have it could always be worst!!!
Officer wasn’t taking his bs.
I'd find it difficult to believe the truth if this guy was saying it. He has liar written ALL OVER HIM.
“ I’m looking in your eyes, I’m telling the truth”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
thank god I still have my freedom
this guy a cold blooded psycho period. he’s the last one to be intimidating a detective.
