For those who dont know it: the "Wonky Quartet" (7:24) is a direct homage to the german tale of the so called "Bremer Stadtmusikanten" aka 'Bremen City Musicians'.
The tale goes like this: All of these animals were not good at their jobs anymore so their owners wanted to get rid of them (the german way). The donky does not accept his fate of dying because he is a musician at heart so he decides to run away to become a musician in the city of bremen. Along the way he finds the other three animals one after another which join him after a nice little chat, because he convinced them that they aren't worthless too.
When they arrive at a forest near the city and look for a good place rest, they discover a comfortable house, but its already occupied by a group of criminals. They decide to make a tower (as depicted in the card) and "sing" all at once from outside a window, which scares away all the criminals. This is proof to our band of animals, that they are indeed talented musicians and not useless at all.
...And thats how the story ends. Now good night everyone.
To add a bit to this, in germany, there is also the saying „Halbe Bibel, ganzer Hurensohn“ which kinda fits this comment, in my opinion.
But yeah, the card is a nice little reference. I like it.

Seeing Barox is nice for HAT Instant Fusion purposes, but no Kamionwizard in here is unfortunate considering it's like $40 near mint.

brio was the V jump promo from september 2023. well if you're looking to build ritual beast, sprights, branded, or noids this set will be your best friend to a degree.
Dragon Master Magia possibly being a QCR exclusive honestly pisses me off more than the disappointment that was rarity collection 2. The card is legitimately good, being the primary card I wanted from this set, and Konami gatekeeping it behind a price wall is beyond infuriating.
Loving all the Branded reprints. I really hope that secret branded fusion means it comes in a QCR.

Skelgon and barox reprints are so random yet cool to see. I really like the new dragons such as the ice mountain one and blaze. Aside from that, the set looks pretty solid, nothing crazy ofc.
Forgot to mention that the new brionac is very nice.
Honestly, I think it's a pretty cool set. Fish support, good reprints, and I'm interested in Ice Barriers. As long as my OTS isn't charging a ridiculous amount for a box (Like they did Rarity Collection) I'll pick one up.

You dont know how happy i am to see the Ritual Beast reprints, they all definitely deserved a higher rarity, and Ulti-Gaiapelio needed a print since its first printed is currently at $35 for both Ultra and Ultimate rare.
Ulti-Cannahawk alt art making it stateside is also awesome.
@DoctorFalchion yeah I'm so happy to get the alt art, although Winda does look derpy, I still want a playset of it and to have it in my deck

Overall a good set. Pretty happy that people can play Spright and Danger Tear on a budget now.
Also, RIP Mkohl40's suggestion to ban Oak. Oil makes that ban irrelevant now aside from slightly hitting consistency. Ban Poplar.

Yes because Konami really doesnt want to write "a millenium card or SENGENJIN" on every card that searches millenium stuff from INFO.
Konami is just reaping the results of overly loose localization that has ran rampant early on in the game's life and caused countless "except frog the jam" situations.
Sengenjin's actual japanese name translates to millenium primitive man which couldve been translated as millenium caveman or millenium giant.

It's a Summoned Skull situation, where the original translators did something stupid that recent ones have to fix whenever a card refers to words in a card's name.
looks like my entire wishlist of the Ritual Beast reprints are here with the exception of Elder, though we will have to see if you just missed him or if he is not in the pack.
Spright and Diviner reprints are nice. Phantom of Yubel is the only real new card you’ll want to pull though. It and Diviner are going to hard carry the set with Voiceless Voice and Yubel being solid decks, even in the current format.
Super excited for Phantom of Yubel! Can’t wait for just another year or two when they’re reprinted enough that I can afford the deck

People are saying this set sucks, but this is a set clearly designed for newer players to get into the game through some unique rouge decks and the the spright reprints are fantastic for everyone new and old

Reminder if you feel this set is bad: Since release in the OCG I’m pretty sure the only one who hasn’t had a top of the new stuff is Genex. Infernoid Fiendsmith is still topping in the OCG, and all of this whilst in InFo format. These are good cards.

Funny how they changed the packs for the US and Europe. Farfa from Scotland (Europe) has the Secret Rare at the End of the pack and for Cyberknight (USA) is the Secret Rare in the middle. I'd like to ask Konami why 2 different spots?
