Maybe but the D-Backs core is already great. What seemed to be the problem with the D-Backs was pitching which Ohtani is out for pitching until 2025. Though it would be a great signing for the D-backs, it seems highly unlikely.

I chuckled a bit when you kept Castro. I remember when Castro was part of the Dbacks rotating closers near the beginning of the year. He looked great first few outings, but my god, he's been absolutely abysmal. I don't even normally knock my teams pitchers too much, but it's not even funny how bad he's been.

This is slightly off topic lmao but can you explain how to steal bases? On PS4/5, I've read you "just tap L2" but that doesn't seem to work for me. What the heck am I missing? Thanks!!
Unless you unbinded it, L2 steals for all runners if you’re playing as the whole team (meaning no player lock/RTTS) If you’re looking for how a specific runner can steal, use your left stick and point it toward the runner then hit L2 (I.e. left stick to the right + L2 makes the runner on first steal) Hope this helps!
in addition to the comment already posted (and i know i'm 6 months late but i just learned how to steal myself) use your left bumper, either L1 or LB, to force your chosen runner toward the base. also good to spam the bumper as the pitch is being let go to really get a headstart on the catcher. also good to take a pitch first to lull the pitcher to sleep.
Was Dominic Fletcher not even on the roster? Guy only had a OPS of .800 in about 100 ABs before getting sent down.
