After three years of discipline, I've finally achieved my dream skin. If it keeps improving, great, but as of now I'm happy to be in the maintenance phase. Having beautiful skin is most definitely a flex, almost in the same vein as a bodybuilder who can proudly show off their physique. My biggest advice to others is consistency. You have to be patient, your dream skin won't come overnight. Don't get discouraged, it will take time but the results are worth it.
@@Valreea okay tell us what did you use consistently?
What’s your skin type & your morning/evening routine with products…that helped you achieve your skin goals?
I agree with the other commenters…spill it! We want to know 😊
Secret routine: Sperm
Congrats! It took me years to get there too. I’m so happy for you 🎉
Hey Docs!
Can you please make a video discussing the relationship between gut health and skin health? It'll be an interesting watch. Thanks for your informative content as always. ❤
Yes... i really think skincare is 20% of better skin.. 40% is what you eat and 40% genetics.
This!! 👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻
Absolutely!! I had acne for years, saw multiple dermatologists and not one asked about frequency of BM... Once I addressed that issue my acne disappeared!!
Good afternoon. Most handsome dermatologists ever.
Yes they are 😍
Indeed.
Without creeping, CZcams is not CZcams
yes indeed
ABSOLUTELY ❤
This IS the benefit of long form content! Incredible explanation thanks docs!
This cartoon about shopping is amazing! :D tu-tudu-tuduuu :D
Time again to thank you. I‘m very happy with staying on the plateau. My skin has improved so much, since i first saw you three years ago!
This is the MOST excellent advice anyone has shared! Very valuable!!!
Thank you both for caring❣️❣️❣️
Some people don’t wash their face? Jesus take the wheel. This is an extremely well put together video. Thank you.!!
Thank you. I was talking to someone today who doesn’t have a skin care routine and wants to jump to cosmetic procedures. My advice was to get into a skin care routine first because any procedure needs a solid foundation.
Thank you so much for your no 💩 skincare advice. I am sure there are thousands of us who you helped immensely with your informative content. THANK YOU! ❤
So so helpful!!! I've been considering seeing a dermatologist and now I know I've got an A+ in foundational skin care I'm so thankful I have watched a couple years of your videos to get me there!!
Great education! Learned to perceive skin care differently, and I’m in my sixties. Will make my foundation skin care my powerhouse from here forward & use other products knowing I’m upping my game. Thank you!
This is the video I’ve been looking for!! I haven’t seen anything like this from other YT derms. Thanks so much for all you teach us!
One of the best skincare videos I've seen! Thank you!
Thank you for the evidence based advice on foundational skin care! I especially appreciated the information on intermittent skin regressions (times where skin appears worse or goes through "rough spots". Thanks, Docs.
I love your channel! You guys have helped me so much with my skincare. I LOVE that you will give budget options!
Thanks for condensing all of this information into one video that's easy to watch and learn from!
This made a lot of sense--thanks for posting! Now I understand where I'm at on that curve, and also how to proceed from here. (Now if I can just manage to *regularly* use my foundational skincare...)
You two always make my day, such great info 👍loving REMEDY👍👍👍👍
I pray to God that you two are RICH.. y’all have helped my skin sooooo much.. I send nothing but GREAT THINGS YALL WAY🤗🤗🤗🤗
wow this was so interesting, I never thought of it that way, thank you 🙏
Thank you! Concise guide for anyone at any level.
Thank you both for sharing and caring for the health of our skin 😊 Since I've been wearing sunscreen every day, I've noticed that my skin being sensitive with Rosacea and from the sun - isn't as irritated as before. I use a fragrance free Micellar water with Aloe Vera. My cleanser is the Neutrogena Ultra Gentle fragrance free Daily cleanser , along with a few favorites from Vanicream - the Moisturizing Lotion & SPF 30 . Take care everyone ⛱😎
Thanks for a wonderful educational video! I have been using led light therapy and I have seen a MAJOR improvement on my skin!
This was very helpful information. Thank you!!
This was absolutely a wonderful and informative talk that you guys had today.Thank you very much
This was sooo helpful! Thanks guys 🙏
Thank you soooo much Doctors for making this video! It is soooo helpful to me! God bless ❤️🤲🏼🌹
Hey Dr. Shah! I saw you on LIVE with Kelly and Mark. Well done!!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks for all the great info you two provide. You guys are basically my dermatologists bc the 3 near me are female doctors that won't see male patients. After them it's about 80 miles to the closest dermatologist. I just do what I can
Thank you, Dr. Shah, for not plugging your products in every video. Btw, can't wait to receive Remedy for dark spots. 6 months on Tret, consistent with my antioxidants, SPF, topicals' Faded just ain't doing it. So very excited to try out your product for those pesky sun spots 🎉
I just noticed Doctorly changed the thumbnail. You guys are awesome!
Thank you.❤ You have confirmed what my DO has asked me to do. I was originally upset when he said that I needed to first use metrogel for 3 months prior to him referring me to dermatology. I have a full skin care routine in place including the metrogel and am patiently waiting for my first derm appointment for rosacea. I am hoping the dermatologist will prescribe azaleic acid and possibly perform Vbeam. I had Vbeam twice before and it really helped with the texture but I didn't have a full skin care routine in place for it to do much with the rosacea. Maybe this time around I will see more benefits. I will follow the DO's and your wonderful advice!
❤this is invaluable. Thank you
Love you guys ❤
Handsome, hilarious and educational.
So frustrating to see my skin’s texture improving , but I can do nothing about the sagging 😟
Excellent content as expected from both of you! There are no short cut/easy fixes to healthy results. Thank you for the video❤️🩺⚕️
I’m very pale w dark hair and the ulike has been sooo great for me.
Thank you for another great video doctors
This is a video I needed
WOW, that was Amazing!!! You read my mind. I have been ready to move forward but couldn’t decide where to go first. Now I know, it’s red light for me. Can you please share your opinion on a red light face mask over the more affordable smaller red light panels?? Very much appreciated.
Amazing video. Thanks very much
This was excellent.
Love how I learn so much from your video ❤❤❤
Yesssss this is amazing
Dr Shah you were great on Kelly and Mark!
Ahh I was nervous! Thank you so much ☺️
Yes he was!!!
He was great!
Great video, guys! Can you please make a video focused on devices? I'm interested in the microstamping device. Gracias!
awesome video❤❤❤
Hope there is a video in the future about how the average person can increase their access to a dermatologist. While many of us might want the guidance and expertise of a doctor when we don't have life-altering skin conditions (and especially when we do!), this is simply out of reach when navigating many health plans.
Even being treated for skin cancer is not covered by my very expensive American insurance plan. It’s criminal.
My co pay for a Derm or any other specialist is insane that’s why I watch these videos 😭
Yes, I hope they can cover how this might work or not in the US health insurance landscape. Only time I could see a dermatologist on a HMO plan was after I exhausted all my PCP’s options for acne. That was 20 years ago. My issue now is aging and wrinkles. I could probably save up for a med spa and such but how do we pay for Rx meds?
Your editor is awesome !
hey docs, i love your videos u guys have helped le so much in my skin care journey!
Could you make a video about at home IPL devices please
The glowy of their skin is😩❤️🩹
2:21 @Doctorly would you please consider doing a video of the dos and don'ts of actually washing off and applying products from the skin? Like, squeezing a glob onto the palm and smooshing it on both palms then rubbing up and down on the face versus using fingertipa only versus applicators/washcloths, etc. like, a basics of HOW...
I love remedy skin!!!
Recommendations for exfoliating acids? I’ve been using a glycolic & use all other products mentioned as well as Vitamin C and I am definitely at a plateau :( Always a pleasure watching your videos ✌️💛😉
"Here we go." Haha i always like that part.
Thank you this video was very educational but easy to understand. I didn’t realise there was a skin plateau but I think thats where I am now. I like my skin but I want it to be better. I had a stem cell transplant so I had skin graft versus host disease so I had dermatologists at my local hospital but I saw them last week and we both realised there’s not much they can do more in their office so they referred me to a private dermatologist which I will see in a couple months mainly for a patch of melasma topical treatments just don’t seem to be able to help with.
Hey Doctors!
Please do a video talking about Advanced Glycation End Products and what can be done about it through diet and more!
What are Advanced Glycation End Products?
Question: Do you cleanse before or after showering? What’s best to do?
Please make a video on immediate changes of skin after using retinol
Could you do a video on when to start your skin care journey and a routine for teens? I’m a teen on acutane and I want to know what is ok and not ok to use for my age. I love your guys videos and want to pursue dermatology in the future.
Since January, I have kept my routine tight. But sometimes, I feel like my routine makes my skin worse. I mean, I want to get rid of my acne, but the products that are supposed to remove them make it worse. At that point, I understand that I have reached the plateau phase. So, I take a break from my routine for a few days or a week. I use only cleanser and sunscreen. Then, when I go back to my routine, my skin gets better.
Could you guys review or share your opinion on the Reedles serum? Would it be part of the Innovation section?
I think when a doctor tells me what I can do for myself is going to be my favorite doctor and the one I will approach for future help. So when you said it isn’t necessarily going to increase your practice I look at it differently. The doc that always writes prescriptions is scary because I’m just a “test dummy”.
please make a video on raw shea butter for dry skin, the scientific evidence supporting it. Or when is Doctor Max's next live q and A so that I can ask then?
I absolutely love your channel that I had to make an account so I could write this comment 😅 I was wondering if there were any radio frequency devices you would recommend and is it important to stick to the same brand skincare range to get the best results? Was thinking of using ULTRACEUTICALS, what are your thoughts on this brand? Wish I could purchase your product in my country! You both are amazing! Ever since I started watching your channel I have had better skin and now I’m up to my next step. Please help 🙏 thank you for your time
Hi guys! Can you please make a video on products that help with skin texture lol
Would you be able to make a quick video on the biorepeel?! it’s fairly new i believe in some countries ❤
would love to hear your recommendations for a seborrheic dermatitis routine! im struggling to figure out how to complement my prescription shampoo and zinc bar with the rest of my skincare routine (like sunscreen, moisturizer, serum, etc)
What causes canker sores, how can you get rid of them, and how do you prevent them??
Please do more videos for body sunscreens. There is so much for facial sunscreens but not for the body.
Thank you ☺️ I get it, I feel the same way, for some reason in the summer, I feel like my skin gets weird and I don’t know what to do. Maybe is because of the ac and the hot and humid weather outside, idk it’s just weird I think my skin gets confused hahahaha 😂😅
Could you please make a video on laser? Types, benefits, costs, how many times to see results….etc
Thank you 🙏🏻 😊
I've seen the VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot's completely blow up my FYP lately - is this something y'all would recommend as a product? It looks convincing and the technology behind it seems exciting!
Feel like I’ll never hit a plateau because I don’t think I’ll ever stop getting acne 😂😂
That just boils down to hormones, good exercises, & a clean diet. Going anti inflammatory with your food choices & cutting out dairy/gluten may help. Test it out & see what works for you. Drink warm water with chia seeds lemon every morning & that will do wonders both for your skin, digestion, & overall health. Balances out your ph & detoxifies your body. It’s not just what we put on our skin externally & procedures etc but what we intake & our stress etc that contributes to these breakouts. Treat your body like a temple. Best of luck on your skincare & wellness journey! 🙏🏼
No matter what I did, I always suffered from acne throughout most of my adult life. The only thing that worked for me was going to the dermatologist and getting Accutane..
Im so sorry!
Something in the end will work for you! Keep trying!!
Thank you for great tips, I also have a questions regarding a tapes for face to help with a little bit wrinkles. Which type of tapes you will recommend it?
Fantastic video, thank you so much!
I’m 55 and have been told by an aesthetician that I have the skin of a 30 year old. I take care of my skin, exfoliating 3x/wk, use sunscreen and I use REMEDY pore refine alternating with standard retinol. I also take hydrolyzed collagen daily and use red light therapy 4x/wk. It’s really not a lot of work or products. It’s a simple routine that has paid off (so far).
I agree that you need to have a good skin care foundation before graduating to things like RLT.
I actually think I have hit the barrier, and I am fine with this. My skin is the best it can be using products at home, and while it might improve slightly with some expensive procedure, I am satisfied with 1 pimple a month 😊 I have no wrinkles at 40 and discoloration is minimal.
It’s funny that this is exactly how I built my current skincare routine. Not because I knew about the graph they just explained but because I’m broke and have to buy a little at a time lol. Sunscreen and cleanser was literally the first thing I invested in. My skin is AMAZING now and after several months in I just bought a vitamin c. My next step is saving for devices and Botox around my mouth.
I'm also broke most of the time.
My best experience was when I wasn't working and recieved allowance from the governement. I never took so much care of my hair, it grow to my tail bone.
Now I work, but don't have the time anymore, and same goes for my skin. I work under the sun most of the time. 😭
You do need money, to invest in products, devices, medical procedure, ... sure !!!
But time, and attention that's what care is about. 💝
What are the current strategies for treating hypopigmentation (once the foundational steps in the graph are followed)?
Can you make a video about heat protectors for hair? Do they work?
But what is wrong with a plateau? If you look good isn’t it just maintenance?
nothing wrong with it! I'm personally ok with my plateau too! - Shah
Hi Doctor, what skincare is suitable for people above 70 years old which is safe.
Can yall talk about post natal hives? How to help/possibly cure them?
Please a video about BB creams vs CC creams and if you Sun lotions if using BB/CC
Hi, could y’all make a video on accutane? I will be starting it soon but i’m scared of the side effects
Hey docterly!
I've acne scaring on my face
It's expensive to do in office procedures here like micro needling.
Can you please make a video on how to use micro needling stamping devices at home
Would love to hear your thoughts on topical estriol for post menopausal women. Seems to be advertised everywhere now.
I use retinol, which part of skin care do I incorporate Anti hyperpigmentation cream? AM/PM?
Thanks so much
Can you please discuss what should I do if my skin rejects AHA, BHA, and niacinamide - actually, these ingredients only make my acne and inflammation worse? Of course I use retinol and benzoyl peroxide, but it seems not enough to fight adult acne and post acne.
And please tell that retinon can only be used for fine lines and it can used only when wrinkles appear on the skin
Hi i have a 7 step korean skin care routine and was wondering how can i layer my hydroquinone prescription with it.
Question on dr Maxfields great skin gains graph - any limitations on number of targeted or supporting ingredients/products respectively? Or do you consider that you've done it all first when you've tried all actives for your specific concern? Thanks!
Please review Carbon lasers
The thumbnail is hilarious
Really need your input on the nira laser. Plus can i use my qure microneedling system once a week instead of every other week?
I've been using retinol for about a month and still haven't seen improvement in skin glow and texture. So was thninking to move to tretinoin. After seeing this video I've decided to try and be consistent for 3 even 6 months ? and see what happens.
Exactly... i am facing that 1st plateau, after cleasing+tretinion and spf. And i am not satisfied with that plateau and my skin sometimes feel worst. And i am tired of that.
Please help how can I repair my skin barrier epiceram made it worse
Can I use retinol at the same time using hydroquinone?
What is microstamping? Do you have a video about that?
