- Who is going to come out on top?? I battled @Silverpicker in this video, where we unboxed our third grab bag from the same Instagram seller (each video is a different one), and this one was probably my best grab bag unboxing yet! I purchased it from OkieCoins on Instagram, and I'm excited to see how Max (Silverpicker) did on his - we're trying to decide a punishment for the loser, and that will be established as to the overall loser across the value of each grab bag.

I should have been clearer in the video - my $25 value was for both the possibly/likely No FG half dollar, and the Blank Planchet Penny! Wanted to clear that up - should have done two separate values :)

@@HalfDollarHunter I live in a small town right next to san francisco. It's a 30 minute drive. If I had to come from a different state just to go for a week, my parents would never say yes but hopefully when I'm 13 if i get in my parents'll drive 30 minutes. I'm sure they will. Haven't visited though because I just don't go to coin shops that often and there are other ones closer, but i hope i can visit soon.

Silver picker got hosed. total garbage. the no FG if it holds up saves you from the garbage dump of grab bags. it is worth graded about $45-60 dollars if VF20 or F15.

Take away the $25 for the penny blank planchet, and you would still win! I think you both over valued the blank planchets actually!
Ok - may have inadvertently valued that one higher.. my guess is I didn't put a $ value on it, and instead looped it in with something nearby.. but glad to have had a good performance.

How do you figure out who you can trust on Instagram as far as I can tell it's full of scammers I just had someone try to scam me on a coin last night I asked for a picture of the coin and a piece of paper with today's date and my name on it to prove they had it in person and they photoshopped the piece of paper over top of the exact same photograph they have on their site needless to say I didn't buy LOL
Definitely don't go after deals that are too good to be true, or buy from people without clear references.
