- You’ll notice that this video looks very different from most of our other content because, like many of you, we’re also sheltering-in-place. Filming outside of the Microjig shop was the perfect opportunity for Morgan to get creative with limited space at home. Watch how he turned a 120 sq. ft shed into a functional workspace, centered almost entirely around the MATCHFIT System.
This most-in-one cart incorporates a table saw, jointer, planer, router, assembly workbench, dust collection, and tool storage - all made possible by the Microjig family of products.

Work Safer. Work Smarter. - Jak na to + styl
What an amazing concept and concise video. 6 min with 10 hours worth of information.
That's pretty impressive.
I will NEVER EVER complain about my double garage being too small again. Awesome project....
I had my shop setup in a 2 car garage a few years ago and I couldn't stand it. Too small. Then I moved to this house - no garage. I thought about putting a proper shop on the property but I started working at Microjig right around the same time. Figured I had everything I needed at work so no need. Then, covid :/
Excellent
So Nice !!! 😁
That is truly an amazing build. Efficiency at its finest. Wow...
Morgan you're amzing! No other words to describe what you do. Propbably the most creative project I've ever seen. That is Morgan Hop!
Aww shucks, Rich! You always brighten my day!
Very cool!
Looks amazing. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Floored. You took the micro shop space to another level. Skillful, you are. :)
Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
It's great to see someone in a small shed/shop workn it! I love the cart! Very functional. Great function flow of your shop. Well done!
Wow, so many clever ideas in here. Thanks for sharing this!
Very nice
Looks great Morgan.....many of us deal with space limitations like this so your ideas are very practical and useful. Cheers.
This is exactly what I've been looking to build. Thanks for the inspiration!
This is a brilliant engineering work of mothereffing art. I hope Microjig pays you EXTREMELY well.
This is great!! I am building out a 110 sqft shop as well!
This is just what I'm saying Small Shop Series that I am setting up in my 14' by 15' shop. I will be borrowing a few of these Fantastic ideas.
I am already making my shop a Dovetail Operating system and have converted my Ron Paulk Workbench into a Microjig Dovetail bench .
Morgan Hop - We need to have a beer in the future! You're Awesome! Thanks for keeping it real!
Are you kidding me? You made it so easy, but I know this would be a lifetime project for me, if I could ever get it done! Genius design that incorporates power tools into the workbench. Storage is well arranged with respect to tools. Thanks for the video and inspiration.
Thanks! it was a labor of love haha
Hello, good work You interesting. Thanks
Four syllables, Morgan: in•cred•i•ble!
Thanks for all the wonderful MicroJig products, as well as the content promoting and supporting them.
Be well and do good work.
Thanks, John! I really appreciate it
Very impressed. And I thought my shop was small.
You are very talented and have designed and made a very functional tool. Thank you for sharing and inspiring us mere mortals.
Now comes the real test - building actual projects!
That is awesome! I thought your use of space was amazing. Stealing some ideas for sure! I'd buy plans if you make em
Very, very nice cart. Amazing use of space in your tiny shop. I never thought Alexa was worth much but I may have to reconsider.
I mean, why print out a conversion chart when you have the power of the internet
Plans for this would be amazing. I’d buy for certain.
I had a few folks ask about that in the comments - refer to De2's comment below...
Some really great ideas there especially the Jointer thicknesser Definitely stealing that idea be interested to see what lift you’ve used. My mouth is shocking so Alexa gets used to heavily in my workshop as well LOL I don’t know however manage without her to be honest thanks for sharing looking forward to seeing what you come up with next👍
What a great looking station man. Love microjig products. I've got a 10' x 20' shed so space is limited in there too but you did a great job with your space you have
I'd kill for 10x20 haha
@@morganhops yeah I believe it, you know how it is though we always want more space more clamps more tools. Your video inspired me to stay inside my 10 x 20 and realize I've got enough space for what I do anyways
Here's what I noticed ... your WAP vacuum. I have the same vac, owned it for over 30 years ... the best vac I ever owned!
crazy good suction. leaps and bounds better than any shopvac I've had
Fantastic build, getting ready to build one for myself. Not as superior as yours, but will try.
You got this!
Incredible minimalist creativity! Love your setup and will use your ideas to formulate mine. Just wondering since you don't have the Saw Stop TS did you add safety measures to your table saw for kickback and blade guard dust collection? Thanks.
I sent a message to micro jig about improving the older dovetail clamps nice shop only problem is it rains in ohio a lot and i work out of a 16 by 20 one car
Can you share the build plans? Thanks for sharing
Hey Morgan, im kinda in same boat 10x12 shop a 40" front door, and a small side door to load sheet goods.
Morgan you gotta share those plans man! Need to make this.
Fantastic - I’m in the same boat. What did you use for dust extraction please.
Very impressive. Did you actually design all that by yourself?
Great use of space. I work in about 60% of a one car garage. Any chance you could share the plans you used to build you cart?
So how long did it take to design and build? Btw it's bad ass!
Your cart/table is great.. well done. If going to that extent, you should consider a cabintet and get away from a direct drive saw and go to a belt driven saw. No comparison ..
I know I know, if only I had the space :/
What’s best for matchfit? Plywood or mdf? Ever heard of mdf with tempered hardboard laminated on top?
Morgan, What material did you use for top? MDF or plywood? I would think that MDF wouldn't be strong enough over time. And what finish?
Nice work, thanks for posting!
I'm working on my own 'most in one' bench right now. It's not similar to yours except in one feature... a long T-Square fence (Delta's version) is incorporated into the structure of the bench. I'm about halfway through construction, and I have one question if you don't mind - Do you find that the fence comes out of square as you roll over uneven ground?
Great Morgan, is it possible tot get the Plans for this awsome station?
I second that motion!
Here here. That would be awesome
I thought about doing that but the measurements and stuff would only work if you have the exact same tools that I used. BUT, I'd be happy to put together a general layout and bill of materials. Would that be helpful?
MICROJIG yes that would. Thank you
@@Microjig Yes, (pretty) please!
I've been wanting to get the jointer planer combo? There are so many bad reviews on ACME tools and other retailer websites. I'd like to hear from you about how it's holding up.
Morgan has gone out on his own since this video was made, but you can find him here: www.morganhop.com/
@@Microjig is it possible to get link to the recessed vacuum port on the table
@@gstarmj reach out to Morgan Hop for that: www.youtube.com/@MorganHop
an here i thought i had a small workshop space, mines in my liveing room lol
I thought my shop was small.
not small. "cozy"!
