Great job as usual champ. Keep it up 🎉

This has so much info packed into it, I love your series on defense
Excellent video ! Will deff rewatch this many times. Love the slow cues breakndown on the rolls.
Great Stuff!
Thank you so much for this defense improvement tips Gabriel, I utilize all 4 of these, but thank you so much, for giving me insight, into how to do the first two tips, that you mentioned in sparring, I will be sure to try them out with these tips, keep up the great work as always! 🎉
Hi Gabriel
Could you do a episode on groin injuries, how you prevented them and what you can do to recover?
Very common injury in this sport
Groin stretches are huge. All your hip flexors really. You want to work on abduction and well all drop lunges. Make the stretches mobile by swinging your legs. You want a combination of static and mobile stretches. It’s going to be a long process to get the proper flexibility to have patience.
Most boxing / kickboxing schools don't emphasise on defense. They start teaching jab cross with upper body straight, head straight in the centreline - thus starting with wrong muscle memory (which then needs to be unlearnt).
Instead, if from day-1, if they teach moving head off the centreline and also immediate slip / roll under from day-1, it will be a huge help to the students.
Your emphasis on defense / evasion is remarkable and the correct way to teach.
I don't sub. You just got subbed. This is everything I used to learn from a quality gym. Thank you for the content!!!
fantastic video! thank you!
Glad you liked it!
That spinning intro fucking SENT me. I didn't know you had physical comedy chops, Gabriel.

here's a question: what kind of slipping would be good against power strikers like buakaw or tawanchai?
Gabriel, I have a question. In another video you mention that you should always have the same side arm glued to your head when slipping, e.g. slipping to the right, right arm up to your eyebrow. This makes sense in order to protect from a surprise kick coming up to meet your face. However, in this video you seem to contradict this, by saying if my right arm is extended I should slip to the right. What am I missing? Are you just relying on the fact that I will be returning the right arm to my head as I slip?
Anticipation is faster than any reaction speed, but patterned movement is predictable and allows the opponent to accurately anticipate
