    Good review, I just bought one of these for my family and I to use while on a boat in Norfolk a few weeks per year, and also for potential trips abroad like Japan where I can just buy a prepaid SIM at the airport to stick in it. Previously had a Huawei E5332 that worked fine but wanted a 4G one for better speeds when network coverage allows.

    The fact that you take the time to reply to everyone in the comments is incredible, keep up the good work! I’m thinking of getting this as the internet provider where I live is limited to 10Mbps MAX, my current internet plan is 3Mbps so this device looks enticing.

    • @TechTronic9000
      @TechTronic9000  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank you for your comment. As for the device be sure to check first that your network is supported such as 4G band. I use this a lot when I travel to areas where my usual network provider has a poor network performance so I can get another prepaid network provider that has better network in that region.

    Is this better and more stable then smartphone hotspot (tethering)? I am thinking of buying this for use in nature where 4g signal is weak, hoping for more stable connection.

    • @TechTronic9000
      @TechTronic9000  Před 4 lety +2

      Yes, it's much more better and that is also my usage. Before this i was using tethering from my phone but was kept dropping the connection and was also draining the phone battery much more faster. With this one the connection is much more stable and I can also position it in a place to get better signal.

    That's quite a handy device. I wish I had a better 4G LTE network here, especially at the bargain price you are paying. It would make my life so much more convenient and cheaper. I'll have to keep this item in mind, in case I ever find a cheaper 4G LTE provider. Thanks for the look. Cheers.

      Happily we have some of the fastest internet connections from the world, for instance 1Gb/s Fiber-to-the-building (FTTB) connection cots juts 8.95$ (USD) / month with unlimited traffic. You actually need a very good router to be able to cope with such speeds. I personally have the cheapest 300mb/s optical fiber and it is just 6.70$ (USD) / month.

De exemplu daca eu am cartela in telefon si pe speedtest imi arata 12Mbps, cu acceasi cartela introdusa in router as avea o viteza mai mare? Daca da, cat de mare e diferenta? Multumesc mult.

      Peak speed is ~ 50Mbps (4G LTE) but it's highly dependable on your data plan, provider and signal strength. This is not for fast downloads but it's for providing a WiFi hotspot for multiple devices and to use on the go, for instance WiFi in your car for your phones, tablets and navigation system, or use it while trekking or on long bike trips, it saves the phones battery as you don't need to enable hot spot. It has plenty of other usages as well such as emergency back-up internet connection even when your power is out or your fast connection cut.

    It’s using from data or hotspot? Because I’m very confused ,To be honest I using simcard umobile So my umobile have a unlimited data and 10GB hotspot. If I buy this item ,The hotspot data not included right? This item just using your unlimited data right or what? Sorry I don’t know how to explain ,I just say what I know only🤣

      To explain this better is like having 2 devices in one, a 3/4G modem that needs a SIM car with a data plan and also combined with a WiFi router.

    how is this compared to TP-Link M7450 or similar more expensive wireless/mobile routers ? the M7350 is £70 on amazon uk now . Any other router out there that`s better at this price range ? Thank you

      As of daily usage I don't think you are going to experience a large difference between the two of them. It's more important to have a good data provider, as for example the 7.50 should easy get 50mbps download on 4G but usually when I travel I get 5-6mbps so it's no longer important how fast its WIFI is.

      Almost any kind of SIM works, it needs a mobile data plan and a network compatible with the device.

      As long as the internet provider has 3/4G with the supported bands of this modem then it will work

      có thể thiết bị của bạn bị lỗi, thiết bị của tôi hoạt động rất tốt với một số thiết bị. Mức pin có thể bị ảnh hưởng nhiều bởi tín hiệu mạng 3 / 4G và cả tốc độ lưu lượng của bạn.

    Can you check the search history in it or not

    • @TechTronic9000
      @TechTronic9000  Před 4 lety

      What do you mean by search history? It's just a modem, doesn't save your info, it just provide connectivity. History is stored by the browsing device and by the ISP. The model will just keep track of the traffic so you will know how much you will have to pay.

      On the WAN side? That depends on your network provider, you might be better with using a dynamic dns service.
