Can this be plugged into a wired BT broadband for a windows 10 PC?
And would the 4G wireless also work?
How do you switch from one to the other?

I have question, I am planning to buy it but have a question. Can you confirm if you have the band lock option in its system setting whereas you can lock the router in a specific band for LTE.

    • @ianwilliamtan884

I'm about to ask that. Also, if it can identify LTE bands then the end user can lock it in the settings.

Hi I have been using my Deco P9 (3 pack) on my existing ASDL fritzbox router config is disabled wifi on fritzbox and use the DECO MESH network WIFI instead and all works great for past 2 years. However as my adsl is only 12mb and unbelievably at my address I can only get 4MB on fibre I am looking a 4g routers. I would like to change to an Archer MR200 or Archer MR400 for faster internet speed, but its not clear if my existing Deco P9's will work with the new Archer 4G router. Anyone have success with this?
In theory can I just turn off the wifi on the Arhcer and connect the primary Deco via cable and it will work same as it did with my fritzboz on ADSL. Any guidance much appreciated!

This is not at all a stable device. I have been using a Jio Mifi router which is hardwired to my computer when on conference calls. The connection would never drop once but after I put the sim in this router and joined a meeting online, it kept disconnecting. It was very embarrassing in front of the clients and I stopped using this immediately. The 4G back up mode is absolutely useless and will only kick in if your internet is completely out so if your primary internet has poor quality of service (e.g. ping drops) like we have with SITI network in our area, the back up mode is of no use as it does not detect QOS and provide back up when needed.
You will be better off with a JIO mifi router for mission critical work. Trust me, there is hardly any difference in the speed although I am just 100 meters from the closest JIO tower. This is fine in an area with no hard wired network connectivity and for basic home usage but don't bank on this for WFH, it will disappoint you.
