thanks for the info, I changed rotor and pads (1 hour) both sides, great tutorial
i tried doing that today but couldn't get the bolts out at the back of the caliper... had to put it back together so i can go buy a breaker bar!!
Bro how did you guys get the two bolts on the back of the caliper off? Apparently God himself tourqed those bolts to like 6 billion nm on my car lmfao I hate doing my own work but I hate getting ripped off by mechanics more
Great video! What are the torque specs for the bolts??? I couldn't find the detailed version of this video
great video, thank you, what type of drill are you using, its nice and small
Love your channel has help me out couple times . I just can’t find the links to change the pads on the Benz w204

Whats the best rotor and pads for 2012 c300 w204?
What year is this? Engine looks different than my 2013 m276 engine and it’s definitely the ones before that, 2014?
Do you need thin wall sockets to remove the wheel?
Nice video.
Thanks 👌🏻🔥
is this for c300 2007 mercedes?
How many mm is the rotor on this?
Should be 322mm diameter & 32mm thick. Non sport is 330 diameter & 22mm thick I believe
Why should you risk damaging those rims by putting them under the body? ....lol. joke aside, good tip, safety first always!
Bro how tf did u remove caliper bolts?? Those fuckers are tight af literally unrevovable
Saved 625$-1300$ shops are rip offs
👍
Does the rotors have to have holes? Or can I use rotors without holes?
It is not compulsory for you to have holes providing the model fits your car
Drilled discs give you better breaking as holes cool them down when intense breaking but they do cost more, its your choice which discs you prefer.
Drilled rotors actually decrease braking except in extreme circumstances where overheating can be an issue. Most put them on because they look cooler
Ryan Freeze exactly, slotted discs are the shit!
I know this thread is old but I'll just put it here; There is a difference between cars with AMG sport-package and without; The car on the video comes with AMG sport-package and thus has drilled discs. You should always double-check if parts fit your car before purchase. Note: the performance of brake discs is not defined by its visuals; different brakes with different properties give different results in pair with different brake pads!
I just bought a C300 and I didn’t notice the brake pulsation until I apply at 60mph and above. I checked the brake pads they look like new. Should I be fine just replacing the rotors?
how much is your maintenance? is yours manual transmission
are you happy with your c300 ?
@@christophercolumbus8944 Hi, I still have the car. It’s been very good basic maintenance. I ended up replacing the front rotors and sanding down the break pads since they where factory pads like new. Haven’t had problems since. I have almost 100k miles on her, put 20k on the car so far.
I replaced the shocks all the way around and upper control arms. Used bilstien shocks with Sachs strut hats. No check engine lights…. Very good car IMO.
Mine is the automatic, make sure you buy one that has had the service done. Should be done every 40k miles. This car was a 1 owner with all services done thru Mercedes. Bought from a 3rd party dealer.
@@Aku112811 you mentioned shocks?
how much was that? is that air suspension car? or
@@christophercolumbus8944 no c300 of this year has air suspension or adaptive suspension. It’s just a regular shock absorber. I don’t remember how much… maybe 300-400 for parts ?
@@Aku112811 i am buying 6 speed manual
the wheel has a nasty "curb rash" or a heavier term word for damage.. If I'm buying this car and I see this wheel, as it is, I will doubt to buy the car for a damaged wheel---shouldn't be a deal-breaker. Wheels with such damage can be repaired/restored IF THEY AREN'T BENT. Perhaps the spare wheel is also a beautiful MB wheel the same
I am afraid the spare wheel for this car is a tiny flat one
