@@Samarth.t16 But the problem here is Pennywise isn't supposed to be human, has no mother, and doesn't float away as an apologetic leaf. I know it's an adaptation but that's no reason to shovel in new details for a book that was already too long and full of plenty of different things to try to begin with. Why add all this extra stuff when what was already written could have been TV magic if left as is? Imagine how creative all the supernatural elements to the character could've been had the Woh series decided Pennywise was a real shapeshifting unkillable being from another universe that feeds on fear like the book, instead of turning him into a simple humiliated clown who died. It WAS creative to always have his makeup pattern change. That way you can't directly identify him so there's no hope of catching him.

If anything such a plot sounds like a Pennywise parody, which oddly enough I'm NOT against. WAS this like a comedy parody or something? Tim Curry (who played pennywise in the IT Tv series) was actually afraid of clowns so much that mirrors were not allowed so he didn’t accidentally see his reflection. And no, he never saw the TV series.🤡
Funny, because he autographed a picture of Pennywise for me, and when I met him at Emerald City Comic Con, I showed him the autographed picture of Pennywise. He didn't react negatively at all

I don't know how intentional it was, but weirdly one thing Woh was the most accurate to the book on is the static silhouette form. Which is pretty similar to the form It takes when Patrick Hockstetter sees It. Patrick isn't afraid of much, so when It comes to drag him away he just sees some indescribable figure like constantly changing melting wax. Missed opportunity in the newer film only to have Patrick attacked by generic zombie kids.
