Hats off to Dr. Shivaprasad. Further, as per the updated rule of GOI, any differently able with 40 % Permanent disability can avail the GST/Cess and RTO exemption, without modifying the car irrespective of Manual or automatic transmission.

Dr Shivaprasad is a great and very humbled man, he is the owner of Galaxy Systems Bangalore, Galaxy system provides car adaptation solutions for differently abled people. I got his reference through my car showroom and reached out to him, the day i reached him to understand my adaptation need for my new car, he helped me understand what should be the best adaption for me, what all discount is available for adapted vehicle and even gave me some useful tips to build my driving confidence.

Dear friends
If you want to get road tax exemption, the vehicle adaptation is compulsory before but now on 29.08.2023 the govt issued an order that even without modification under Divyanga Jan category you can register and avail tax exemption.
If you are handicapped and want modification you can contact the galaxy but if so you just hire a driver and want a vehicle or else for getting road tax exemption only, kindly register in divangajan category and avail exemption and no modification required
