I’ve been using these controls for the last year and a half. They are wonderful. Five minutes tops to install, very short learning curve when first using them. It took me about 20 minutes to get comfortable with them, and about two weeks before using them became second nature. Great product!
Ordered these off Amazon when my neuropathy took so much of the feeling out of my feet that it was no longer safe for me to drive with them. I considered getting mechanical hand controls professionally installed but with limited funds and no one to drive me around while I went through driver rehab, and since driver rehab is not mandated for hand control use in my state, I opted for portables and self teaching. Most portables looked hard to use but the basic push/pull mechanism of these is really easy and almost natural to use. I was able to pick them up right away and within the course of a weekend had managed to master them well enough to pass my test to legally use them. They are very easy to install, it really only takes about 5 minutes. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the spinner knob that came in the kit, it's a hard plastic. Though the design allowed me run some kinesiology tape that I had in my purse through the gaps and pad it. Doing that also improved the grip. If you are in need of hand controls and low on money check with your DMV to see if you have to do driver rehab if not buy these. If you drive with mechanicals but need portables for driving someone else's car, buy these.
Flaming Zebra I'm glad you like them, yes the spinner knob is a free gift. If you're looking for a more professional spinner knob I would buy it separate but this is just a free gift to get someone started

I had doubts about this product, but after getting tired of paying for cabs and ubur, I ordered it on Amazon. It arrived, I put it on my vehicle in ten minutes, made sure it was adjusted to my comfort, and practiced for thirty minutes. It's nothing to it really. piece of cake.

they seem more complex than the clamp on pedal sticks i used for years but they also seem more sturdy especially the way the clamp onto the pedals.

I found that I am not very good with the steering knob, so I had it removed. I can therefore maneuver the steering better with my right hand by positioning on the steering wheel in certain positions for right and left turns. It's very valuable to me. Without it, I would not be able to drive at all.*

mahmood iraqe as far as I know Freedom staff does not have any distribution in that area. You could inquire with the company and try to start Distributing them there maybe.
My permanent controls are set up that I use my left hand to control my gas/break. (it is also a push/tilt I think is what it is called) Is there a way to set this up so that I can control with my left hand. I understand it will still be a pull / push set up.

The handles are adjustable as long as it's automatic it should work, if not there's a 30 day return policy
