- Time to put your scraps to good use! In this video I demonstrate how I turn various fabric scraps, trims, laces and other little bits and pieces into a long fabric collage piece, snippet roll. This is the first part of a 2 part video. First is about making/constructing snippet rolls, and the second is about decorating them.
I hope you find value and inspiration in them!

This video popped up when searching CZcams so I subscribed to your channel, I am into fabrics and sewing by hand. Love the first part of this and will watch part 2 and more of your videos. I am Ann and live in South Wales UK 🏴
Hi Ann! Thanks so much for watching. I’m glad you enjoyed it 😊❤️
I too have a problem with starting one thing and then moving on to another idea because I just can't wait to try it! Lol Our minds think of ideas faster than our hands can work. It was fun to watch the fast forward of you laying out the fabric pieces. They were hopping everywhere, but it turned out so pretty in the end. I got a bunch of sample books from an interior design Co. quite a while ago, and I steamed the paper off by holding it over a kettle. I'm going to try your method with the iron, on the ones I have left. I also like to plan & measure where I put things, rather than just stick them on and hope for the best. I feel so inspired to make some of these now with my sample remnants. Thanks for the tutorial Dragana! 😸
You're very welcome! So glad you enjoyed the video! It's been a while since I've made new snippet rolls. I collected a big bag of the remnants, just waiting now for the inspiration to come 😊❤️
So beautiful
😍
Thanks so much🥰
You really struck a chord when you said you start one thing and then you go on to another thing. I’m still new to junk journaling and I am always starting one thing but not following through. It’s such a complex craft with so many possibilities it can be easy to get lost.
I love your sense of colour by the way. X
Hello Ann and welcome to the channel! Love your comment! Thank you! Oh, and I know what you mean about starting something new before finishing what you started. It can be frustrating and I was hoping I'd be wiser by now, after so many years of crafting. But no 🤣, I still have so many projects on the go at the same time. I think you and I are both wired the same, no point in fighting it, we should just go with the flow and go where the inspiration takes us! ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks so much ❤️
Muy aburrido ..😮
Sorry you think so. This was the first tutorial I ever recorded and I admit it was a bit lengthy. However, I shared a lot of useful information.
