🩷 hi .. you can use all kinds of things o na snippet. Paper, cardstock, lace, fabric, ribbon . anything you want :) 🩷🩷

Very nice! I've made a few paper ones but I struggle with how to cut them up and use them in journals. I don't think I could cut up a beautiful lace one like you made and would really love to see how you use them in your journal. tfs and have a great day!😸
🩷🩷 Well the key to not feeling bad in cutting it up is, I grab lace and fabric from big pieces I already have, so I am not taking from something that I only have ONE of ... they are already cut up, I am just placing the cut up version on the snippet so to cut it again doesn't bother me, it adds to the project .. does that make sense? I hope that makes sense 🩷🩷 its a lot of fun to make but I get what you mean too, making something pretty and then cutting it ... I get it :)

This was truly helpful since I struggle with snippit clusters. Mine turn out looking.....like a hot mess. LOL I like the idea of starting with one bit and continuing to add bit after bit to make the roll. Then you go back to add stuff. (I feel like I should have known this. LOL) My clusters have been trying a variety of paper/fabric and trying to make smaller sizes so I'm getting bits of the other to show. I generally fail to get the recipe 'right' and end up with a mess I try to add ephemera to and hope it looks semi-cluster like. LOL Have I mentioned I suck at the decorating part of the journal making? Clearly you can see why! Hahahaha
We are our worst critic ... I have a feeling its not as a "hot mess" as you are saying hehehe I would love to see them :)
So very sorry I didn't respond to you. I've been under the weather and didn't see the message. I would have said the snippet roll, so you read my mind. I have lots of rolls but can't bring myself to cut them up. Fantastic piece.
