    Thanks for showing us how to make a snippet roll! Now I know what to do with my scraps! My great grandmother & granny did candlwicking , tatting, embroidery, hooking rugs, crocheting, quilting, anything sewing & a lot of it was handed down to me! It is so hard for me to cut it up! But after seeing this I cut a beautiful piece off of a stained table cover & am going to use it to cover a small journal I've made! Its better than being away in bottom of a drawer & I get to enjoy!!! Please show how to finish & how u used the roll! TFS, my friend !👍💕

    This looks beautiful! Thank you so much for showing us what a snippet is. I thought I was the only one that didn’t know.
    I wanted to let you know (since you mentioned it on a video/chat) that today I didn’t get a notification for the video. I checked my settings and they are set for all. But I found it in the feed and it said posted a hour ago. I double checked my notifications and nothing. Just thought I’d let you know.
    Thanks for sharing your ideas and creativity sweet friend. Kay I hope you’re feeling better. Love 💕 & hugs 🤗 God bless

    Just came across snippet rolls and found this. I had to laugh when you pulled out the little book. I found Peter Rabbit at a thrift store not long ago the same size.

      Thank you so much Deborah ☺️ I am so sorry it took so long to respond, it is so crazy to me how we don't get comments and then they just show up weeks or months later. I love those little Peter Rabbit books and still haven't taken them apart 😊 I read them to my granddaughter. we truly appreciate you stopping by and watching 😊❤️ Have a great weekend

    I loved watching this. I didn't know what a snippet roll was either. I was wondering how you would sew all those on. Do you tack them first then take to the sewing machine? TFS

    • @craftingcousinscreate
      @craftingcousinscreate  Před 3 lety

      Hi Lisa, you can use a small amount of glue in the middle to hold it, or you could use some fusible web in the middle to hold it or you could tack it. Just make sure you keep the adhesive in the middle so it doesn't much up your needle when you sew it all down. Thanks so much for watching Lisa 😊❤

  • @craftandseewithlaurab1870

    I don't mean to sound stupid but even though I watched the video I still don't quite get what you use a snippet roll for. Just to look pretty? Embellishments? Am I just that boneheaded? It's absolutely gorgeous whatever the use. 😉 Anyway, as always LOVE your crafts and shabby chic for the win!!! 😍😍

    • @craftingcousinscreate
      @craftingcousinscreate  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Laura 😊 you definitely are not a bone head. It really is mainly for embellishment. It is a great way to use scraps instead of throwing then away and it makes a beautiful touch to your pages. You can just cut a strip and use it like ribbon or cut a piece to make a tag...I love using it for the spine of journals, I think it so pretty. You can use it as a cover on a journal as well. Really just another way to decorate. Thanks for watching 😊❤
