Thank you for an amazing review. Really enjoyed watching. Nymble 2nd Production is already underway. More finish options, Mokuti, and fun add on kits will be available. Pre-Order coming up mid September 😀👊
Chomping at the bit to get my first-ever second (duplicate) model of a knife. You killed it!
I know I'll be trying to get one, really liking this design.
Oh I forgot to say but I hope you are doing a little quality checking of your own(likely are). I got a great Qsp penguin but I also got a terrible hawk model. The blade was fine but everything behind it was a nightmare, every part had something wrong with it, it wasn't even safe to use.
Just pre-ordered the Micarta version today and im so excited to get it. 3 months is gonna seem like 3 yrs 🤣 but good things are worth the wait
Amazing design congrats
I have this exact version of this knife from this first production, & mine was perfect right out of the box. I've been playing with it for weeks & it feels so, so good. I particularly love the way it feels when reverse flicking & using the flipper.
The blade snugs up against my index finger seamlessly. Man this thing looks awesome, too!
I love it! 💙❤💛💚
Took me a minute to get the hang of the front flip. Once I re-gripped to avoid putting pressure on the lock bar, it was a breeze. Amazing little blade, checks all my boxes!
Thanks MC you just made getting my second one in the other style much harder to get. He plans on coming out with a larger version eventually, making a great knife even better. Enjoyed the video
Just opened mine yesterday and I couldn’t be happier, first knife over 200 bucks and wow, what a place to start. Great vid as always MC.
how long did it take to get your knife? They are sold out, next batch will be offered in mid September
It only took a few days, but I was out of town at the time they dropped, so it sat on my desk for a few weeks, longest few weeks of my life.
Get out wile you can this is a perfect edc knives get pricy and you go broke
Wow, This knife is sick looking!!! Might have to pick one up :D
Thanks MC!!!
I have a very modest collection as I just got into knives last year (17 or so). This is hands down my favorite knife I have purchased thus far, with maybe one exception, the Peña X Series Barlow. I am carrying both today, as I have many days since my Nymble arrived. I can't wait for the next drop as the upcoming configurations are even more appealing to me than my first.
Publisher's Note: I call this my favorite but I do not have a Hinderer, Chaves, Spartan or Koenig yet as I am more drawn to smaller knives due to my corporate desk jockey status.
I got mine in frag and it is beautiful. It's my most carried in my collection at the moment and I don't see that changing for a while. They are absolutely going to be doing a second run with alot more color options.
Love this knife, so smooth, so fidgety, my everyday carry since it came in.
Such a cool looking knife. One of my favorite edc knives is the Spyderco Titanium Native 5. That’s what this reminds me of but so much more fun to fidget with.
This really is the ultimate fidgeter. You can do everything you can do with a para, but also front flip, reverse upside down flip with every finger, and back flipper with every finger both upright and laying in the palm. At least 15 ways to open it.
Awesome! I was able to get a plain Ti with mokuti kit. Freaking love it.
I made a video on the fact that Chinese OEMs have really changed the landscape of the knife industry, I got my hands on one of the 2nd production and fell similarly in love with the design. As such a week & a half ago i hopped right onto the nymbleT drop and got the same bronzed pattern as the knife you're featuring.
First observation is the Detent, It's been stiffened quite a bit and is now fairly snappy... They've removed the chamfered edges on the thumb holes, essentially the hole itself now has an 90° angle like a Spdyco.
Screws ARE ALL T8
The T has also been slightly reduced in height & Length, -1 chunk unit basically
The cutout beneath the pivot where the detent ball's located is just machined with a little more precision and looks better because of it.
The gimping for the front flipper and thumb rest portion has been significantly improved, angle are sharper and easier to grip onto, but they kept the softer style for back flipper tab.
Their already amazing frag pattern is even better on this one, all in all I'm quite happy with these two blades.
Great video, i came to watch to have my opinions further solidified.
Corey pitman...totally agree with you in every way. I love this knife as much as my Sebenza
I love my Ferrum Forge Falcon for many of the same reasons. Digging the 90's SciFi vibes.
QSP has some higher end knives that pretty much go unnoticed. The Nymble has turned my head in QSP's direction for sure!
If they come out with an XL, I am ALL IN. Black and Bronze all day long!
What an interesting looking knife, especially their first run.
Ahhh! There it is!
One of my favorite of all time also, liked it from first look to receiving to using, Grand Slam Home Run, will be purchasing other variants as well 😎😎😎
Looks like a cool design, I would love to pick one up
Very very nice indeed and for a first design that’s like gotta hole in one on a par 6 hole, as for the quality it doesn’t surprise me one bit that QSP are capable of such good quality work after all their low priced items are of a quality that does put some much more well known and expensive makes to shame. Another nice one M_C have a beautiful day , stay safe and healthy 😉👍
Super upset I missed the preorder. I’d definitely get that exact variant! What a cool knife!
It’s live now
I'd absolutely love to see one of these in a stonewash finish and a marbled CF scale on the show side. That would absolutely be a grail.
Nice job, EMPEDC!!! Looks similar to a Ferrum Forge design!
I got one of the nymble t that recently came out and I'm trying to decide if I should mod it mused out on the mokati kit I have already heat anodized the pocket clip. Being that it's a first production run should I go farther acid etch the blade and anodized the scales and backspacer or sell it
That link tree is really cool and easy to use! Great addition
😁⚔
I dig it. It reminds me of the Civivi Odium, but luxury.
Plan to pickup one from the 2nd run. He has an all black version he’s been teasing. With the hardware upgrade on all blacked out…..
I picked up # 49 in frage pattern.....THANKS FOR SHARING..
Have you reviewed the Nymble T2? Just received a 1st production run, I'm blown away with this knife.
So I bought the Nymbal W on ebay for 325. Aftermarket and I confess I thought I was buying the drop point.
I am so glad I bought the wharn.
It is much more useful for me.
Even though I made a mistake it was a great mistake
Any particular reason you sold yours? Size? Blade finish? Or just making room for other stuff? Thanks again MC!
Very cool design. Would love to see a similar model with a 3.375" to 3.5" blade for XL hands.
for around the $300 mark, I can either afford the emp, or I was considering the Luft concept, have you handled the Luft?, and if so, which one do you, Meal Complex, prefer?
I got the reverse tux version of this but really wanted to get my hands on the black frag with bronze hardware. I’ll probably be buying the black stonewashed frag with bronze as well and sell my reverse tux for a good price.
Like the design
I prefer larger knives but I've been carrying this one for two weeks and love it. I wish they'd make a 3.5 inch blade model.
They have the Nymble X 3.5 Frame Lock available right now. At least at the moment I'm sending you this message.
@@JoelHunterGun Hey, thanks. Unfortunately my knife budget is blown for this month.
Got a Hogue ballista, a Jack Wolf K9 jack coming Monday, and I preorderd a Knife Standards RR. Gonna have to put that 3.5 Nymble on the wish list.
Carrying my plain Ti version today. Sad I missed out on the Mokuti kit though
Ugh fragtanium you wicked siren, and with those Ferrum Forge-esque ergos mmm mmmm
Skilled Cad/Cam
If Spyderco was cool they would make a mini Shaman with these deployment options. Because to me this has mini Shaman vibes. Cool knife for first design definitely a home run on the first at bat.
I already received my EMP Nimble and I feel the same way as you its a knife that's not going ANYWHERE !
Its a keeper for sure AND coming in at UNDER 300$ its THIS knife that blows the other [not to be named] newly designed knife out of the water [IMO] !!
The Rosie?
@@sunnyrachelsson3169 The 1 designed by the Bearded Gear review guy [the Luft concepts ''AVANT''] !
1 of my buddies got in the the preorder and I got to handle it and keep it around for a few weeks an there just isnt even a comnparison between it an the EMP Nymble IMO !
The Nymble is less $$$ and FAR superior materials & design [framelock/full Titanium] than the ''Avant'' [linerlock/micarta] which is IMO more of a budget design but with a premium price tag !
She looked bigger than her dimensions. Pretty cool.
Don't know if you keep track comments.
Bought the Yeager after watching your review and by no fault on your I just didn't feel it. Didn't hear the ting you and Skelton talked about. It just didn't talk to me so I sold it for 595 on ack. I feel better knowing this knife sold for less
That's a tasty looking piece
Between EMP EDC Fatboy release and LuftConcepts I'll be droping $900+ on knives Saturday &🤞DLT will drop some Hinderers then I'll be close to broke for the week...Thanks Metal Complex & Bearded Gear...Bgood!!
Beautiful knife, but for the price, why t-6 body screws?
Does this one have the speed holes ? 🕳 🕳 🕳
Heck yeah
Mc rocks and I like my Nymbal W
Not gonna lie. I like the look of this knife.
I’ll keep my eye on that designer👌. A bit small 4 me.
I was just at their site a few weeks ago eyeballing this and now they are gone 😐
I don't really like the texture on the scales though... hope they come out with plain jane titanium scales...
Very impressed nonetheless.
The sharpening area is extensive.
You could sharpen this into nothing.
Just a really great knife...
Wish I would have grabbed one...
Maybe next batch...
I have the reverse tux version with smoothie titanium I may be selling for a version shown in this video.
Crap it's only been 9 months since this was reviewed? Lol feels longer then that since you are in the 100k+ subs now. Any chance you will be reviewing the nymble X?
Nymble is very good, though I'm a bit on the fence whether to hold onto or sell mine due to the size. It's just a tad smaller than I normally prefer. The large finger choil does help some though.
what finish did you get?
I will buy yours if it is a frag pattern and you decide to sell.
Love my Ti and would love to have both!
@@PocketMetal the frag pattern. I don't have the knife at the moment; it's with Neeve's Knives. When I get it back, I'll carry for a few days to see how I like it. I'll post back up here if I decide to sell.
I like it love the frag pattern..Q S P .Is doing a great 👍job..glad to see them moving in to the premium.
WHAT HAPPENED TO MT PATRION SHEILD ?? KERRY

I want one so bad.
Damn, it seems like the PRC is starting to make more and more high quality knives. Sadly, this knife will not wind up in my collection.
Man. I want one so bad, waited 2 days after drop and that was 2 days too long.
Another sold out knife. I'm not thrilled with the trend of most all new knives making a lot of buzz, but being unable to buy. TRM is one of the leaders of this trend.
Missed opportunity : to do a size comparison agains Civivi Odium, the shape is very close.
$290. Yikes. Great folder for sure! Will save up for the next batch.
Review their Slenderman otf!!!
You should try yourself a QSP woodpecker.
Website says 3.1" blade
Really love the look of that and yeah qsp quality really seems to be right there with we/civivi
Hel-looo Slicey Dicers
Sort of looks like better looking Medford On Belay.
Dude, thick boy comes out in like 12 hours... Jesus I was hoping you would review that one first, it would have been nice to see a full review on it before I throw that much money.
Made by QSP…..I thought it was interesting that you didn’t go ahead and say China when talking about QSP. Unless I missed it….after watching your review….I then had to look up QSP.
I think that nearly $300 for a knife made in China is entirely too much.
If that’s his knife he sent it to the right guy
I'm not a big fan of some of the knives you review. I'm more of a user kinda guy. I respect people that collect. I've just started to get more where I can carry. I used to be a one knife guy. My old work knife was zt 0804CF and still love it but I broke the tip off. I used it as a pry bar for years then my girlfriends sliding glass door broke it.
Hey man. No judgement. Enjoy what you enjoy 👍
@@metal_complex it was my fault I didn't mean to put the tip where I did that fucker was the biggest tank.
Let's see if my medford can handle it?
@@metal_complex I've wanted a Medford for a while I still like his product but I don't like my slim midi. I've never tried to send it back.
Stop pin is fucked
Makes no sense hiding who the manufacturer is. If it's not made clear then we all know where it's made and think less of the company for trying to hide it. It's not like anyone thinks, oh maybe it's made in the U.S. and they just aren't using that as a marketing tool.
Cool knife for sure - Reviewing knives that no one can order, not fun
This knife is such a blatant ripoff of Vero Engineering it’s unbelievable. Completely stole the Vero Flipper! Also blatantly ripped off a Cobalt Custom design… How many designs is this guy going to copy?
... ok the Cobalt I agree with but the idea that Vero invented that profile and shape of flipper (and solely owns it) is incorrect. Thats not how that works.
@@metal_complex The entire pivot area of the knife is almost an exact copy not to mention the rest of the handle... Oh, I added a lanyard hole and changed the blade shape. Put this any an Vero side by side... Its clear.
You're the first person I've seen mention this. Sorry, no matter how clear it is to you, it just isn't going to be a viewpoint everyone shares.
@@metal_complex Maybe on your videos but EMPEDCs Instagram and posts all get comments on how he is stealing designs and he deletes the comments and blocks the people.
Right, but people there are talking about the Cobalt. This design wasn't in question until afterwards, and what I'd expect is basically what you said here. It's just being forced. You're looking for it now, when in reality if you're going to scrutinize something that hard, you might as well say that every knife that has a hole in the blade is a spyderco ripoff, or any knife with an axis lock is a Benchmade ripoff. You're in the "eye roll" zone with this whole copy thing now.
I get why companies are hesitant. As soon as I hear qsp I am out.
F CHIMA
What's "Chima"? 🤔
