Wow!; great review on two "fronts" Captain ! ; inside flight and weather !!!!; during winter (when I cant fly outside) I do circuits inside with either the Tello / Parrot Mambo (or, wait for it!; yes you know whats coming !!!, the Spark !!!); when my Wife gets home she does an internal wall inspection to see how much paint has been taken off !!!!; loved the outdoor footage and "find my drone" !!! (without the app!)

"Tiny Whoop" is a company, and also a 1s, ducted, 65-75mm quad. While not a "Tiny Whoop", Nano quads are a blast to rip around parks and stuff because of how quite they are. And note for newbies, ALWAYS make sure your DVR is recording before takeoff. While you may never use that video, when you crash, that video is priceless in finding your quad.

Nick only flies in his house & backyard, which gives him excellent muscle memory in those areas.

by the end of the year, specs of the Mini 3 will have shrunken to this dimensions, while beating the battery time.
Maybe even in 6 months we can have AI generated props that's tailored to have only about 2-5db of sound;
Nice Video, can you do another video comparing analog, HD zero, Walksnail and Dji? I'm pretty irritated which system I should get as a starter
My advice. Based on popularity of which systems are in the majority of FPV drones, it comes down to price. So Analog is the least expensive for a beginner, next is HD Zero, next is Walksnail and the most expensive is DJI with their new O3 system. Most beginners which to spend the least to see if they can even fly FPV, so analog would be the starting choice. Then based on budget and skills the others can be considered.
Wouldn't recommend flying in snow or when it has rained, if you crash accidentally hit the snow, the drone is done for.
Snow is fine as long as you remove the snow before it melts. Rain is a no no.

Why hasn't anyone added a fifth prop as boost that points straight back.. (a fifth prop 90° of the 4 vertical props

But FPV drones are not rated for wind because they are not bothered by wind due to being fully controlled by the pilot. I think you are thinking of GPS camera drones or those toy drones with altitude hold.
I have the DJI goggles and controller and I'm looking to get into the FPV drone, what FPV out the box can I get to work with the DJI product? Looking for a sub 250g also or maybe over to carry a GoPro.. thanks.
My guess is you have the small grey DJI controller that came with Avata or FPV drone. You can then ONLY use that gear with an FPV Drone that has the DJI O3 system and you would always select PNP for the receiver option.
If you don't have the right controller, you also need an extra charger, etc., it all comes together quite expensive.
People in the hobby have all the gear, so only the cost of the FPV drone is what they pay. For people new to FPV it is best to begin with an all in one FPV kit like the Cetus X.

where is your crossfile antenna? I don't get it. You certainly aren't using the immortal T and I don't see the super long wiring from the other antenna that comes with the receiver.

Shakes and bumps while flying at speed suggest poor tuning.
For indoors, hum, it's not good because you're missing the prop protections and it cannot easily bump of things. I would not recommend that to a newbie!

It's very snowy and miaty here in my part of Canada.

You have two options... you can SPRAY or BRUSH ON a water resistant coating over your electronic parts. Some people swear that using WD40 works.... I have never tried it. That's option one. Option two is like I do... I just fly and when I crash into the snow and have snow all over the electronics, I unplug the battery and let it fully dry out indoors.

What fpv radio should I get? I'm coming from a dji mini3 and Mavic 2.
Depends on what you want, and what you like. What do you like about your controller? Like the gamepad style? Buy a radiomaster zorro or tbs tango 2. Like a more boxy but small, radiomaster boxer or radiomaster tx12. All the features but quite big, radiomaster tx16s.

Since you are asking that question I can tell you are a beginner. For beginners who have very little money, start off with any set of ANALOG BOX goggles. You can find lots of them on BANGGOOD or BETAFPV.

The radio shown in this video was the BOXER 4 in 1. You would need to add either an ELRS or CROSSFIRE module to the back of the radio.

What happens to the drones and other aircraft you are given to review? If you are allowed to keep them it would be great to be able to win them free somehow…
I buy about 50% of the items I show, then I sell them to my local community to buy newer items. The items sent to me by companies also have a cost because I have to pay customs duty, then spend a fair amount of time filming & editing a review. In order to keep the lights on, I eventually sell some of those items locally. I used to give away free drones but it is at my expense. Sometimes I can get companies to give away free products.
Acro mode and Air Mode are not the same thing...
So they just released an update on their product page and facebook page last week telling people to flash a 4.4.0 GEPRC firmware to enable ELRS 3.X support. DO NOT DO THIS. The update breaks the OSD. Flashing older versions of the GEPRC chip's firmware they recommended fixes the OSD, but even after flashing my transmitter back to ELRS 2.5.x it will not bind. I now have to try and track down the old version of the firmware because I forgot to back it up. Couple people reported the same issue on their facebook post. Wildly incompetent on their part.
Edit: So I spent several hours to figure this out. I ended up having to flash the firmware back to 4.3.2 to recover the OSD functionality. At this point the drone won't bind to either 2.5.x or 3.x ELRS transmitters. However you can then flash to 4.4.0 using "Core Only" mode which will fix the ELRS receiver and let it bind to a 3.x transmitter while keeping the OSD functionality.

Need CLI for analog elrs my osd will not show up after up date
Was it a DUMP file you installed?
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 both dump and diff from original drone build I didn't do anything but plug in to bataflight copy what usually is copyed in to notes then I updated firmware and pasted the CLIs now I don't have osd but I get video connection but no osd but everything else connects
@@rainsquadfpv The reason I asked was because I do have many viewers out there who click on that FIRMWARE UPDATE option in Betaflight, which then wipes the drone of all the settings by the manufacturer and replaces them with the latest version of betaflight.
Probably where I messed up Ill reinstall the original hex and start over and see if it works
