Kinda disappointed DMC5 didn't have more cinematic buster moves like in 4. I'm not saying they're all bad as the ones for the higher level enemies such as Furies, Angelo, Gluttony, and Nobodies are pretty cool. But some aren't great or always put you in a position to take damage such as the headshot move for Hell Caina's. The animation for all of Urizen's forms and King Ceberus are also pretty disappointing if you ask me. But that's just my opinion since I'm always a bit critical when a new game comes out and a comparison between it and the original comes up.

you can deflect it somehow (snatch? shoot?) for green orbs, and you can buster it to throw it back. Also, alto angelo has a command where the biancos charge up a cosmic fireball or something, that can also be reflected.
Tbf, you can technically make the Yamato spirit appear during the Dante normal buster. You just have do the buster hold then DT so it'll appear during the animation
You can grab Assaults when they fly spinning at you. You can throw Angelo Credo's spear back at him. You can grab Echidna when she tries to ram you in her dragon form while she glows gold at low hp.
also the cool ones in 4 are more plentiful and different, while in 5 there are a solid amount of boring ones, but then the ones that are cool are much cooler than 4's
You did literally none of the counters... Echidna has her charge attack in her gold form which you can counter, Credo has the spears which can be thrown back, there's the Saviour's punch which can be countered in Sanctus' phase 2, there's the Assualts weird air spin charge which can be countered... This title is insanely misleading.

I think it's possibly due to the fact his prosthetic arms aren't very durable that he isn't more aggressive in using them in that manner.

all of the enemies in 4 you can fight as nero, the 4 you listed there are all fights that you only play as dante during the storymode

also in 4 you can summon swords during buster

Select prototype nero, select any mission (or bloody palace), quit the mission and then select super nero, this works with every character in the game
