Dear Praiselin,
I'm someone who does not have any CZcams channel / not producing any digital content.
I recently came across your video on FB, claiming others to take down your content in their pages/channels.
I don't care if they make money out of it or not, posting without your consent is terribly wrong. I Agree with you.
On the contrary, I agree the below as well.
I encourage you not to produce/publish traditional Christian songs without the author's consent (ex: Enniladanga Sthothiram, not sure if you got permission to publish in social media. ) . Because, singing indoors is not a product but when the same comes to online in the form of digital channels, social media, tvs.. , it becomes a product which produces money directly / indirectly .
So the concern you raise, applies to you as well.
To sing the songs which are not originally written/composed by you, should not be sung by you in online.
If you wanna do cover, you need to have the consent with the original author.
If you cant have consent, (like if original author is not alive) , you should not sing it online or should not do cover song.
Giving credit in the content is not same as getting consent from author. It's a permission to be granted before you do it online.
