It's amazing, right? Animals can be highly perceptive, my cat always curls up by my side when I'm not feeling alright (whether it's mentally or physically). Thank God for Findus and all the other life-saving pets!

I started crying immediately when he mentioned about his cat coming to him. I know how that feels like. I was saved by my cat from using drugs and killing myself so many times. They feel us deeply and they know what's going on. Cats have superpowers and they are sent form Heaven. I love my cat infinitely, she is my angel and always will be.
Never ever try to kill yourself again, you and your life are too precious and valuable. You only get 1 life so live it and stand up and fight against all your challenges. You can do it, and everybody who reads this can do it too!

How could the lady NOT CRY...
Bc it's hard take this man serious for many. He uses all of this to get fame. Did you take that "cry"serious? He sais he has tix. He uses the words tix and torettes. There is actually a different and have we ever seen it? Nope. People see him do all this things, that his so helpful with other people, kids etc.well good for the kids but only for a show and to get creds and sympaty. And it's only the naiv people who belives his shit!

I attempted suicide twice in my past and my cat prevented it both times. To hear someone else have a similar experience is...idk. Comforting isn't the right word, but it definitely spoke to me in a way I wasn't expecting.
Sorry to hear, but glad you are still here. There is a reason your cats saved you both. You have so much more to contribute with in this world. You should keep following Tix ...he is such a great guy and always have so much joy to share (and you have a bond in some ways). He wants to be there for people who struggles and to show there is a way out of the darkness. That is his goal for Eurovision, not necessarily win. His mantra is «Either it will end well or it will pass».. . He said: «The most important thing for me is that I touch some hearts. There are several ways to win Eurovision; one way is to win the trophy and the other is to come home and know that I have done something important for many people out there». .
I'm glad you didn't. I really mean that. I also feel like my cat saved my life in many ways, it's amazing what pets can give to us.
It might not mean a lot to you, but always remember - you are worthy, you are beautiful and you deserve the world.

Having listened to his story , it makes me quite sad that people are so cruel to others if they don’t fit a certain stereotype.
To my mind , he’s an extraordinary talented individual, and having watched Eurovision last night, I’m staggered that his song didn’t, not only win it , but that it didn’t do better than it deserved to.

I totally agree with your thought that those people who don't fit in a specific stereotype, they're not normal. For example, as a girl in a middle school, I was bullied that I honestly love and enjoy doing boys' things like fishing, football, basketball and etc. rather than talking hours about girls' things: fashion, makeup and other stuff. There were also some bullying in a high school too but in a very different context. I was and I still feel like a white crow who thinks that I don't belong here. Finally, Andreas in this years ESC proved right: that those "white crows" also have their inner beauty as well. :) Tusen takk, Andreas!!
Andreas created "TIX" as an alter ego due to bullying for having OCD and Tourettes Syndrome? Got it.
I'm an American who listens to TIX to make learning Norwegian easier and fun. But I understand Andreas having Tourettes, as I have it too. It's not an easy condition to live with, and I give Andreas a lot of credit for becoming successful despite having the condition.

I heard about TIX like 2 weeks ago from ESC, and now I'm there, listening to the Andreas, strongest and bravest person, interviewed. It's just... I want to hug him and to let him talk and talk until pain leaves him forever, because Andreas totally deserves it. Because any of us deserves it. I just recently discovered you, Andreas, because of the ESC, but you‘re already someone I have deep respect for. I‘d never say I can fully understand what you were going through, but still I can relate to many of the things you‘ve mentioned. I can only imagine how hard this interview had to be for you and how much courage you had to gather to talk this openly on a live show. But I‘m happy you did. My 7 year old boy has autism and ADHD in addiction. I'm feeling so close to Andreas and I admire him for his courage to stand up and talk about Tourette Syndrome through his music. Loneliness (of the heart and mind) is a huge fear of mine.. and the way Andreas shed light about it feels like a massive heartwarming blanket🤍 I work in a field where it is rewarding beyond imagination but it can be physically and emotionally isolating from your inner circle of friends and family.. and then you get left behind on so many major events which leaves you so conflicted and alone questioning what’s worth it all.. in the end you do get out of that dark tunnel no matter how exhausting and hard the journey is, seeing a whole new world worth being in... Thank you Andreas and Findus for existing🙏🏻

I remember seeing this interview when it aired (cuz I'm from Norway) and I got teary eyed! He tells such an emotional story! I have a feeling that many see him in a different light now after this interview. I could never imagine in a million years he had this story behind him... I sat during this interview teary eyed while it played on the TV... and all I wanted was to hug him and tell him it's okay!! The song "Jeg vil ikke leve" (I don't want to live) hits me in the heart so much... I can relate to it... so do many teens in Norway...💕

He is so brave and amazing for talking about these hard times in his life. I can't even imagine how hard it is to recall those thoughts, especially on live TV. I can't explain how much I love him. I see comments saying "never stop TIX, I love you" but as he has shared, he struggles to have this life. I say, TIX, I love what you do and you have helped me immensely, but if it gets to a point where you are struggling too much again, then please don't feel pressured to carry on. I made a promise to myself years ago to never get to emotional but this, this broke my own promise. His story reminds me of my own childhood being an outcast and all.
There is nothing wrong with being emotional, it’s part of being human and anyone who makes you feel bad because of it is just a shit person and not worth you.
Better to let it out than bottle it up. Being "emotional" is how we release the pressure and tension inside that burdens us. It is a natural, healthy way to cope.
