Really, have you seen the video where he's singing "Karantene" at Senkveld? It's much more "casual" and the song is more lighthearted, but exactly for that reason you notice how nice his voice actually sounds. Really, have you seen the video where he's singing "Karantene" at Senkveld? It's much more "casual" and the song is more lighthearted, but exactly for that reason you notice how nice his voice actually sounds.

And the lyrics are very powerful. I think his MGP song «Ut av mørket» (out of the darkness) is a sequel to these two songs. In «Jeg vil ikke leve» he sings «I want to get out of the darkness (ut av mørket) and find you who wants me for who I am and love all my faults. Somehow I find it very beautiful and interesting how the songs contain kinda "references" to each other: for example, in Ut Av Mørket there is a line "Men hun får alle mine tusen tårer til å tørke". I haven't earlier notice that "out of darkness" thing you mentioned, but that's amazing too!

I wish more people would understand Tix and his Eurovision song cause I am afraid we wont qualify for the final. Not many have Norway as one of their qualifiers from semi 1. I absolutely love the song and I would be sad if he wont qualify. People seem to think he is a joke. He actually spent several hundreds of hours making the song and he made 20 different versions, The reason why it has taken so long he said, is because literally everyone watch MGP, and there are so many different people, in different phases of life and in different moods. I think it has been important that everyone has the opportunity to interpret the song in their own way. It can be sorrow, it can be love, it can be hope. It's important to me that people manage to form a relationship with the song. And that was also the challenge with the English version of the song, which is written so that the European audience also will understand and attach to my song.»
What is so great about Tix/Andreas and his music is that his music is meant for everyone.
