Theon was fond of her and this was his misguided attempt at getting her to stay. He would have been far more effective if he had not been so prideful and just told her what he really felt.
Shes a hoor, is she expected to fall in love with anyone who flirts with her? It’s her job, and the only thing she’s after is their money; more’s the fool who thinks otherwise.
Even then, she made it clear there was no future between them. He had no wealth or title and even if he did, she wouldn't be a proper consort for him.
Hes like 15-16 at the time, of course hes gonna be a little asshole that doesnt know how to be good to a woman.
