Tapes aren't dead and I'll give you 13 reasons why.
TheBossom those was the last 13 tapes now they dead
@@ezequielronin1127 she for the streets
dude your videos are amazing and that static jam was fire!!!
What about if you have no tape slot and just a CD one?
Get the car adaptor that emits FM frequency so you use your car radio to connect to your phone.
TheBlackCat1997able isn't the sound on fm adapter bad and choppy?
Jassiel Quintana No, perfectly clear :)
What I did was buy a module that plugs into the CD Changer port at the back of the console.
Now I have just bought a Bluetooth receiver (not sure if I will take out the battery though).
not true, at times there is static.
Also the new iPhone has a different port.
This is really smart..good job man!
Fantastic idea. My car doesn't have Bluetooth, but it does have the auxiliary plug and I hate all the wires. This will perfectly hide in the center console with no wires hanging out. Thanks so much.
that is so awesome ! I'm definitely going to use that for my grandfather's old car it will really enhance the driving experience thanks @jlaser
Always appreciate ur work
You know there's a cassette adapter with bluetooth integrated? It's called iOn, and makes it easier than building that, but still - nice video! :)
Just checked it out. Very cool! However.. compared to this, it is very expensive (74.01 Australian $) and not many people would buy it :/
it also needs to be recharged every night...
the problem with using the cassette player is it's VERY low quality. you need to completely bypass it.
Great work bro!!
pretty sweet hack dude !!!
the problem with this method is if you at least half decent speakers in your car you'll notice the low quality bit rate due to the tape
Thing I've found with the tape deck adapters is you usually get what you pay for, so keep that in mind. Cheaper ones usually have shoddier audio quality, at least in my experience.
I like the idea to remove the battery, can you describe more about removing the battery? especially the rewiring of the circuit.
Them editing skills tho
I had to drop a like cuz this is the same setup I have in my '01 Tl.
casey neistat type of feel
Czar Salad
is getting old real quick
HELL YEA THATS EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT
i bought a usb bluetooth receiver for like 3$, its cheap and fragile, and i might end up changing it to one of these when it fully breaks, but so far, the bluetooth connect works great, it only disconnects when i get a bad bump, because the usb port is about ready to fall off the circuit board..
you can also get a bluetooth fm transmitter it connects to your cigarette ligther and recieves the bluetooth signal from your phone ect.. and transmitts it thru your cars fm radio.. ive seen some go for under $20
this is dope because I'm not good at taking apart a bunch of shit in my car and possibly breaking it 😂😂
very amazing video!!!!🖒🖒
great video!
Since you removed the battery, do you have to pair the Bluetooth every time you start the car?
You can get a AM/FM Bluetooth transmitter for like 10 dollars
I have something similar to this on my Mercedes but I got it cheaper and it's actually really cool.
wanna cleaner wire trick? all you need is aux and some type of solder. you have to take out radio and open it. find spot where is that tape reader. there must be 3 wires. left . right. ground for tape input. cut or just solder your cable on it. now you can run cleaner wires ;)
What's the name of this song?
Nice video :)
so you have to press the button on the bt module every time you start the car?
Do you know of any method similar to this if your car doesn't have a casette deck?
should have connected it inside the radio
Try an FM Transmitter, bluetooth if you don't have an AUX port and no need for usb power, as it runs off the 12 Volt plug in your car.
good luck with changing fms while driving in highway a hundred of kilometers...
can you Bluetooth an 8-track?
Thanks!
never heard about solder and shrinking tubing?
The tape adapter doesn't work with tape decks that have the skip option. You have to hardwire to the motherboard.
Not sure if Ive done something wrong. Removed the battery however the unit doesn't fully power up and shuts off fully within 3 or 4 seconds.
Or you could get a Bluetooth FM transmitter for $15 which is a single car charger
subway5411 yeah thats what I have and it works really good
Where/ which exactly? Thnx
Cody Herman 792 how long before charge is needed? Also where is it suppose to be connect? Tape deck or Aux ?
I buy mine on wish for 10 € and it work perfect
3 months late but it's connected to a 12v slot in your car (the one those cigarette lighter's use) and it has bt and fm built in so you're done. Just connect your phone to the transmitter and it shows which frequency to tune your radio in to.
Downside is some of these have a worse quality than actual bt receivers.
After I did this to my mpow bluetooth receiver I only have music playing out of 1 of my car speakers very quietly and a hum noise. Any idea why?
Can i just rip the battery out the reciever or do i have to use a soldering gun??
Is there a similar set up but for a CD player?
Tamuno-Opubo Cookey-Gam no
i looooove radio

I purchased a similar Bluetooth device to use it on AUX. it worked well, but it is not charging now, any idea how to fix it?
3:23 what a move... 😁
My car still has the old OEM vinyl record player installed in the dash.
amazing
one thing you could do is leave the cords alone and mount it to the dash that way you don't have to reach down to mess with it
i have headset bluetooth and i need conecting on my aux cable but i dont want bay any think
They sell that phone to cassette at any dollar tree
Bluetooth fm transmitter. No wires needed at all.
I know
if a bluetooth fm transmitter is anything like an aux fm transmitter, the quality is not good!
I can get CD quality (320kbps) through a module i plugged into my cd changer port, and with the bluetooth module...I think it would be a bit less than CD quality but still high quality.
but with an fm transmitter, you are talking crap quality. Maybe 128kbps at best.
Can you explain the cd changer hack
How did you learn to do stuff like that
Good Day, Please how to modify this BT to automatically power on when car start ? , !! Not by pressing button !!
man ty big boii
or you could just get a cheap fm transmitter, but this way is a lot more fun cx
Will it work properly if i didn't remove the battery?
why couldn't life be like this!!!
what if i just plug the aux in my phone which takes 2 sec
this is for cars that dont have an aux
Smart guy
can you make easy air tank
how about step it up and solder the aux into the audio unit circuit board tape line in. Then stick the bluetooth device inside the the audio unit powered with a 5 v reg attached to the units 12 v power supply.
Shtoops27 lol. True. However most folks want something simple. They don't want to "risk" tampering with system wires.
dollor tree has tape decks for 1$
What's the name of the intro song ?
Manuel Medina It's in the description. Sounds like a sample of "Let Me Be Your Angel" by Stacy Lattisaw.
my car has no tape player :(
e
Holy sheit m8, how old is ur car? :D
Danny K. Shamo My car is about 15 years old and it has no aux and no tape player
The Dope Drifter my car is 11 years old (2006) and has no aux or cassette
Bluetooth FM transmitter
thanks
Gotdamn hackers... luv u guys... lol
So instead of building this, I would just plug my phone into the tape player aux. Why would I want to use Bluetooth and make my phone die quicker? And don't say cuz of the Iphone 7 not having a headphone jack, because it's cheaper to get the adapter then to buy both of those... but thats just my opinion..
How do you correctly remove the battery
Won't u just buy a Bluetooth transmitter? There's one for 5$ lol
SoFaKinG Co_OL shit quality through the AC Adapter using a tape would be best. regardless.
nice life hack
If the phone is right next to the Bluetooth adapter you might aswell just plug it in
Good idea except for one thing you should never ever use one of those cheap USB cigarette lighter Chargers they can ruin the computer in your car.
What if you don't have a cassette player in the car?
"CDs and Tapes are dead. fuck no"
tapes mostly are, but CDs are not
no
Music CD's may be still alive but that will probably last for not so long anymore.
PC has like no more need for CS's because you can get everything from the internet and boot from USB which is faster!
Calvin K some products still comes with cd to configuring them or as an instruction manual
Al-Bader Bu-Hamad yeah but you are always better off getting the manual/drivers/etc online because they are up to date 😊
best and cheapest way... no
most creative... yes
Good job mate as I'm searching through CZcams looking for videos in learning it's not the best one I've seen the best one I've seen so far as I search was one that was hardwired into the factory radio it was into a caset dick but I have Australian car that is a bit of a classic and it has a 6 thakur CD thank you for your video as I shall keep looking for one that plugs into CDs and I will be hard wiring it into the car but it will not be seen it looked like a factory unit thanks for sharing
I have a Mercedes Benz 300sl from 1986 does anyone know how can i do it?
If you have aux port, just buy Bluetooth transmitter..
Or just buy Xiaomi Roidmi for ~ $12 and plug it in 12v socket
this is similar to what I did but without tape
Could it be possible to just keep the Bluetooth receiver plugged in so it overcharges leaving it to rely on being plugged in at all times, don't really want to risk fucking it up
👌
Is that a 2002 jetta?
Dude your video, funny
the outlet in my vw doesn't turn off with the key... and also my cassette adapter sounds like shit lol
all you needed was the cassette adapter to play your music of your phone why even bother with the blue tooth
TRUE! Unless you have an iphone then there is no aux
How old are we talking about here? I have a 1998 Honda accord. It does have a CD player but the laser is broken but it doesn't have a power charging thing. It has nothing.
Only reason someone might do this route is because their phone doesn't have an Aux. iPhone 7 (cough, cough)
watys the song mate
Mine just sits there blinking red and won’t show up on Bluetooth
u guys do know they sale bluetooth cassettes now right eBay has them for $20
Apparently you need to watch the video again, this time, LISTEN. He says those are unreliable...
I bought I cheap adapter at Hastings for 12 bucks
car stereos with blue tooth are like 60 bucks ....good idea but geez too much work in comparison
do you live in Germany? because you have a volkswagen
I live in India here also we have Volkswagen
Volkswagen is literally everywhere
I thought it too because of the Euro money then i saw it right
I'm in canada and I have a 2002 volkswagen passat wagon
I have been fooling around burning CDs for 4 years and wasted an enormous amount of time. Luckily my antique stereo also has a cassette player. Thanks for the wake up call. I am considerably smarter than you though. I paid $2.49 for my adapter, including delivery!
now if only the tape deck stops spitting the tape adapter out. . anyone know how to fix that annoying problem?
surebrec dnuoh yes you have to remove the spindle that changes the tape from side A to B
That's hot 97 in NYC
why didn't you buy the Bluetooth that tunes into your radio .Walmart sells them for 20 bucks and hooks up in 10 seconds how long it take for you to do that probably an hour lol
the process is very simple but having all that stuff around seems like a bit of a hassle, why not just play it through your phone?
Because it isn't very loud and if you have your windows down you can't hear your phone.
jep and some people want to hear the bass
Is this a troll comment to summon the sound nerds?
just buy bluetooth audio transmitter hehehehehe ✌️✌️
wow
